As for your 2nd line I for one would have been interested to see how a "seasoned GM" dealt with that scenario following the Cup. Instead you got someone who had zero fucking clue what he was doing, had pissed off the OTHER 29 NHL GM's and had a Boss that had PIssed them off as well.

Anyway, sometimes people know things and there isn't a link for relationships. You say the GM should know the QOs were sent, but if you trust your assistant, and you have been quarantined with the swine flu (see boston papers for link if you need one) how are you supposed to know that your assistant GM held them back? There is no link for the golf trip that 11 GMs went on with Tallon after he was shit canned, but people know about the trip because GMs have friends. They don't live in the rinks, secluded from a social life.



So again, Stan is #3 on the SUCK list, right behind McD and his daddy. He gets and deserves every piece of shit flung at him, since this is the job he schemed and tried to ruin another person for.

Yes, Tallon was shit on. I won't EVER disagree with that. I understand the reason it happened as does everyone else, while it's a shame those things happen.

Trev you know there's no written proof of that. You have to take the word of those you do know that they wouldn't just say things to say them. If you can't do that I can't help you. There was/is most definitely annimosity which is why Dudley and Tallon were the ones having to BAIL them out. Without them Stan is even worse trouble because Burke taking versteeg was the "only" GM to deal with him that year after.
