Q is a sure bet to get the can if they end up losing in the first again. Scooter also deserves to get his ass fired, but with the gongshow in the front office I am not too sure about it.

disagree. the 10/11 and 11/12 seasons were all Bowman. 12/13 will be the kiss of death for Scooter.

That's what I meant. This is his and Q's season to prove they can get past the first round. Guess I should have made it more clear. Q for sure, with his power struggle with Bowman IE Haviland and the ability to bring Kompon aboard. Now he has his "own" coaching crew. I can't believe Stan is too far behind him. I just wish Mcdonough was too on the hot seat. As long as there are 10k in STH in waiting he's not going anywhere IMO.

You really thinking that Stan won't be able to shift the blame for Q for this season, he won't be able to sell it to McDick that is was all Q's fault?

there will only be ticket holders in the wings as long as the product on the ice is winning. You of all people, who have sat in the cold empty rink for years know that. Too bad McClusterfuck doesn't know that.

Stan has shown what he is capable of. He absolutely will let Q take the ax. He isn't a guy to fall on the sword for his people, nor is he a guy that you would want in the fox hole with you.

I don't think Mcdonough is the one that will be questioning it. IT will be his boss who pays the bills and or gets the playoff rev. Maybe Stan gets another year, but if not finding any tools to add to the Mix how can it be all Q's fault. I think it's a telling season for both of them. Assuming that is theres hockey to begin with. No one I've read think theres a chance in hell the season starts on time.

Then how do explain Wrigley Field and the Cubs They will draw over 3 mil and still be one of the worst in the league.

No way the season starts on time. I think it was telling that the FO didn't pimp themselves out at the opening ceremony of the convention this year.

Mcdonough believes the UC is Wrigley he's far from mistaken. He must have missed all those years of a half empty building. Even the year they won (2002) it was half empty all season due to lack of consitency. The UC is NOT Wrigley and no matter what strategy he uses WINNING is the only thing that will eventually, continually fill the seats. The Honeymoon is close to over.

And that said with this CORE if they do not compete for another Cup all the assholes should be gone. Cap or no Cap there is ZERO excuse with the CORE this team has locked up for 3 more years.

Baseball is America's pass time. Wrigley is an historic ball park, and the world's largest beer garden.

It's Wrigley Field, the oldest MLB building in the league. With one of the most storied franchises in the game. People go there just to say they were at Wrigley Field. Fans do not do the same at the United Center. They did at the Stadium how ever.

Wrigley is a vacation destination for baseball fans. They don't care about the Cubs.

It may be a shit hole but it's still a historical landmark. Nothing was like a hockey game at the Stadium. Made most of us instant fans. Close to the ice, smoke filled arena, not enough shitters! That's HOCKEY!

Not that I like Bowman I really don't see much he could have done to fill our three needs, except the move he did make, filling one of them. So that said he needs to win with what he has. I think other GM's could do it so see no reason he can't.

Especially if Saad can fill the other hole at PF LW and Q can learn to coach slot allocation. They were only 4 games from winning the Presidents Trophy while missing arguably one of the best two way players in the game for 1/4 of the season and not 100% when the playoffs started.

My favorite teams
  1. Portland Timbers

This year is Q's opportunity to hang himself. After this one, something tells me that the Onus will be on stan to hire a coaching staff that can get the job done, and thus, next year it will be Stan's opportunity to hang himself.

Unfortunately, it might take more than 3 years to clear out the rot from within.

agree with this as well. Q will be first, but it should be the other way around.
