This is just my opinion and just food for thought, but I think it is shared by most educated fans. The thought: The Hawks haven't brought in a player I have been excited to see suit up in the Indianhead since Hossa in July 09'.
Possibly Carcillo, but other than that.......
It was understandable last year, this off-season the needs were clear and we had the money. Same goes for the entire season, Stan may be saying he made "all the calls", but why is this top notch organization, fresh off a championship, in the second biggest market being bested by division rivals such as Nashville. Especially when Nashville has TWELVE RFA and UFA's coming up this off-season.
I'm just dumbfounded we went and got another semi-puck moving defenseman, somewhat physical and decent logger of minutes guy. Not to mention since the D has been Keith-Olsen, Seabrook-Leddy it has been really fucking solid.
