And the Oduya/Roszival pairing was very good/active all game. Roszy with 6 hits to lead the Dmen. Q managed his game time all season very well...so that he's ready to go playoff time. What a signing that seemed like a "wtf" at the time.

Well luckily Crawford made 26 HUGE saves because scoring 2 goals every 4 periods isn't going to win you a lot of games.

Crawford's been doing it all year and clearly outplayed Harding...so I don't know what more you want

Not sure where they're going to practice since the Bulls get the UC tonight.

It makes perfect sense to go back to Minny.

The wild have no business being in the series and they played the Hawks hard. You slow the game down against the Hawks and they struggle.

The Hawks had no business winning the game but they did. You need tough wins like that in a Stanley Cup run. Hopefully they blow the doors off the Wild on Friday.

I recently came over from the 300 level boards. The majority of the posters there said things like this all the time, and it left me scratching my bald head.

They never really had anything nice to say...but they would scream that the Hawks were doomed if (god-for-bid) they had one bad shift. It got ridiculous after awhile so I had to leave.

I don't understand the Hawks "having no business" in winning the game.

Out shot

Out scored

Out hit

Scored on the PP (On 1 less chance)

Had 21 more shots on net (to 10) that were blocked

Both Hawk goals were well earned goals

Agree.

The Wild were tremendously understaffed with Heatley/Pominville/Backstrom all out, and basically 0 playoff experience.

They sure got their trial by fire last evening as Harding nearly stole one. I don't see the Wild keeping it this close for the rest of the series.

Yep, if it wasn't for Crawfords 26 miraculous saves the Hawks would have lost. That was just a sick shot from Clutterbuck.

Very true...but giving up 1 goal in four periods will win you a lot of games.

But I get what you're saying, we need to break through that trap

As long as we're talking about "no business," this game had no business going into a 4th period. That goal should've counted that was waived off.

Huh? How is that doom and gloom? It was an endorsment. You're not going to get every win pretty. All that matters is you get the win.

Last night may prove be to the best chance all series for the Wild to win. I still say it, 4.

Did not notice alot of Wild jerseys last night at UC but I bet we see a sea of red on Sunday in Minny.

What I did see was a lot of empty seats.

There were some Wild fans. One came with Larry Miller. Cool dude-- just was cheering for the wrong team.

Seems like the ref waited until the puck went in the net to blow the whistle and wave it off. Had he blown the whistle before Kane poked it in, no goal.

Hawks were the better team and earned/deserved this win. Minny didn't deserve to be in it

I could have sworn, that in the replay, you heard the whistle well before the puck went under Harding's legs? No?

I was watching the Minnesota feed (I believe on the NHL Network)

You're correct-- the intended whistle blow-- but that puck was still live because the player laying on it wasn't Harding.

The building was loud at that juncture. No one was hearing the whistle at that point.
