It is a bit of a problem for the Bulls though that the Berto Centre is in Canada.</p>

Bulls practice at the Berto Centre, I totally think Wild are stupid for flying back...yeah its a short flight, they game ended late, they left after the game. They still have at least 30 min in the airport of getting off the plain, walking taking the bus back to where ever they parked. HOw much sleep do you think they got this morining, then they are practicing Thursday, just to do all that again. DUMB IMO. You could have practiced at the UC, or even at Johnnys before or after the Hawks practice.</p>

****, I hardly slept after last night's game.

I got home around 12:45am, ate a taco, watched some Bang Bus, and went to bed.  That game took a lot out of me, and all I did was sit in 326 like a slob waiting for a pop tart to warm.</p>

i see nothing bad about the wild flying home with two days off. its not going to tire them out lol. these are pro atheletes im sure their bodies can handle the short flight and waiting time. jesus some of you act as if they are 80 year old arthritis suffers. its weird that they would fly home but its not detrimental in any way.

Maybe when they are headed out of the airport they will come across a sea of red arriving for the games in Minny and once in Chicago at the UC they will think "where the hell do they all come from?" and must they be so loud and supporting to their team?</p>

And then Zach Parise will utter, "I knew I should have signed in Chicago."</p>

Didnt deserve to win that game, but they did. Time to kick some ass on Friday!</p></blockquote>
Huh?

Completely disagree. Not sure what game you were watching. Out shot, Out hit, and out chanced them.

Incorrect the floor in the UC was changed out last night after the game. Both teams would have had to be at Johnny's until after the Bulls game on Thursday. They could NOT have practiced at the UC unless they were on roller blades. I watched them change most of the floor before I left.

No question they'd rather sleep in their own beds and the proximity/short flight made it no question knowing there's no ICE in the United Center at the moment.

and I do not believe the Hawks skated today. They were off other than work outs at the UC. Unless it was optional and some guys showed up. At Johnny's.

I recently came over from the 300 level boards. The majority of the posters there said things like this all the time, and it left me scratching my bald head.

They never really had anything nice to say...but they would scream that the Hawks were doomed if (god-for-bid) they had one bad shift. It got ridiculous after awhile so I had to leave.</p></blockquote>
Pay no mind to him. He's "special"...

Agree.
The Wild were tremendously understaffed with Heatley/Pominville/Backstrom all out, and basically 0 playoff experience.
They sure got their trial by fire last evening as Harding nearly stole one.  I don't see the Wild keeping it this close for the rest of the series.</p></blockquote>
If Suter keeps playing 41 minutes like he did last night he's not going to make it past game 3 either way. No ONE can handle that pace and continue consistency.

I don't understand the Hawks "having no business" in winning the game.

Out shot
Out scored
Out hit
Scored on the PP (On 1 less chance)
Had 21 more shots on net (to 10) that were blocked
Both Hawk goals were well earned goals</p></blockquote>
Guess I should read more before I post haha

agree. the only guy who could is retired thank god.</p>

 </p>

his minutes will go down drastically in game 2. Have to think the Wild gave him that ice time knowing the 2 day break would rest him. No way they give him those minutes again...then again it is the Wild. Sitting back while 4 other guys are clogging the neutral zone isn't very hard work. No idea why the Wild resort to that hockey they do have talented guys. Not Hawk like talent but a few guys who should be allowed to skate more.</p>

Yup but that's the ONLY way they even have a chance of winning a game against a team that doubles them in total depth. I get it. Clog the zone and pray for goals like Clutterfuck got last night.

He was brutal on Sharp last night FYI. I thought he was attempting to injure him several times. Twice he slashed him behind the play to his legs then pretty much bulled him over to a hit to the head in the other end after he was already down.

Clutterfuck is a fucking hack.

Mean while it was totally cool chatting with Saads Mom and Dad last night for about 20 minutes after the game.

They were digging Chasman Rocking the Saad Jersey. Told them he just couldn't replace my man crush on the #7. Not happening.
