would have taken Boozer over Bosh and Al Horford, everybody is pointing at Bosh but I have a bigger problem with Horford making it over Boozer, I guess they just needed to take a Center

but that is fine...will be great motivation for Boozer and Deng in the Second Half of the season and especially in the Post Season if we have to play the Celtics

Horford is a stud and he and Josh Smith are the reason why Joe Johnson can go on shooting sprees. Al Horford should have made it over Hibert and Lopez. Noah is out by default, but then again, Joe Johnson should also be out because he was injured for a good chunk of the season.

Pierce, Garnett, Allen, Bosh.... those 4 guys shouldn't be in the ASG this year. And if any of them make the NBA All-Teams this season without a SIGNIFICANTLY better second half, I would be seriously disappointed in the writers/analysts that vote them in.

Garnett, Pierce, and Rondo all deserve it.

Ray Allen... ehh... not really.

Joe Johnson... absolutely not.

Screw Bosh, but we knew he was getting it. 4 Celtics is kind of a "come on, really?" thing. I can see Garnett for sure, and we all knew Rondo would get it. Pierce is kind of a push and Ray Allen, while shooting a ridiculous percentage from 3, probably doesn't deserve it over Boozer. We all knew Deng wouldn't make it anyway. Noah would have made it if he wasn't injured imo. Johnson...name recognition only. Again, 9 players from 3 teams. Ridiculous.

Hey everyone.

You've heard of Frank Breakfast-Styleham, right? Well, I'm Steve Breakfast-Styleham, Frankie's little brother. He told me about this forum so I thought I'd come and see for myself.

Anyway, the All-Star game is a joke.

It's not about who IS actually an All-Star. It's a freakin'....7th grade popularity contest.

Chris Paul over Steve Nash? Popularity contest.

Carmelo Anthony over Dirk? Popularity contest.

But what pushes me at my wits end is how Ben Wallace makes the All-Star team (rebounds and blocks galore but only averaging 3 points a game) and Jayson Williams makes the All-Star team with a 11 and 10 but Kevin Love, LEADING THE LEAGUE WITH NEARLY 16 REBOUNDS A GAME WITH 21 POINTS A GAME DOESN'T MAKE IT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

...ARE YOU KIDDING ME!?

Are you KIDDING me, western conference coaches?

Are you telling me that Tim Duncan, with his 13 points and 9 boards a game on a LOADED team is an All-Star and that Kevin Love isn't an All-Star!? This isn't Academy Award Lifetime Achievement. This isn't a baggy pants farce!

This is the NBA All-Star game!

And what's with the Celtics entire roster getting the nod?

Kevin Garnett isn't an All-Star anymore!

I'm through.

I'm done.

I'm not watching the All-Star game anymore.

This is ludicrous preposterousisity.

Yes, I'm aware I just made a word.

Don't care.

I'm pissed.

And what's with Rajon Rondo making the All-Star team AGAIN?

This guy is averaging 10 points a game.

He can't shoot. He can't hit the bathroom floor with a bladder full of Jack but he's a multiple times All-Star?

I am never watching an NBA All-Star game again.

That guy is so over-rated.

And, "Steve," most of that stuff you said up there was extraordinarily absurd.

Tim Duncan is way better than Kevin Love.

In the least productive year of his career? Seriously, all you need to do to be an All-Star these days is score 13 points a game and get 8 rebounds and everyone goes nuts - but someone scoring 22 points and 16 rebounds is overlooked.

If Tim Duncan had Kevin Love's numbers everyone would be going crazy about how great Duncan was.

I'm pissed!

You and Frank need to sit down and watch Rondo play. If scoring was the most important aspect of being a point guard, that would be different...that ain't the case, and that is not what he excels at...he is a good defender and a great ballhandler/passer.

So glad to see we're opinion snuggie buddies here.

The All-Star game, nor the MVP award, should NOT be lifetime achievement.

The modus operandi is to select the best players.

One guy is averaging 13 and 8 on a LLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLOADED team.

The other is scoring 21 a game and is leading the league in rebounding with 3 more boards a game than DWIGHT HOWARD and you're telling me Duncan is better than Love today?

Ludicrous preposterosity!

I'm pissed!

No he is not. Not in 2011. Duncan is what? 35? Come on!

Hou.

He's averaging 10 points a game.

10 points a game.

To be an NBA All-Star in 2011, all you have to do is miss 70% of your shots, play D every now and then and feed all those scoring options (if Bimbo Coles came out of reitrement and ran the point for the Celtics in Rondo's place Bimbo Coles would have 12 assists a game; if you pulled a Bimbo Off the Street and put her in a Celtics jersey and let her run the point, Bimbo Off the Street would have 12 dimes a game).

He's averaging 10 points a game. You can shoot better than he can.

Let's not paint the Sistine Chapel with this guy.

He's the most over-rated player in basketball. He's NOT an All-Star. He's got the easiest job on earth (feeding Allen, Pierce, Garnett, O'Neal brothers, etc.)

Relax.

I'm pissed!

...Why are you poo-pooing his complimentary message?

Are you jealous? Do you wish he saying that about a word you selected (as if your 6th grade vernacular was on par with mine, lol) in your post?

The gentlemen made a very poignant, kind remark and there you go being a hubbub.

Things run a whole lot more smoothly around here when we're opinion snuggie buddies. In our Bulls snuggie made for 2.

I'm pissed!

Nice word, but it was used wrong...lol

If Tim Duncan played on the Minnesota freakin' Timberwolves, his numbers would be pretty damn close to what Kevin Love's are.

First of all, Love is a really bad defensive player. The best part about Love's offensive game is his jump shot when he is wide open. And the only reason he gets so wide open is because he is such a menace on the offensive boards that the opposing defense is just glad to see him far away from the glass. He doesn't have much-to-any of a low-post game. He gets easy put backs off of offensive rebounds for nearly all of his points in the paint.

And if you think Tim Duncan cannot do everything that Kevin Love can (besides rebounding at such a high rate), you are dead wrong. Duncan is one of the best post players who's ever played. He is one of the best defenders in the league even though he's been in the NBA for about 15 years out of Wake Forest.

Tim Duncan is way, way, way more deserving than Kevin Love.

Is Kevin Love still married to Brittany Spears?
