Scheme doesn’t make you drop passes or run lazy routes. Only Fields got Kmet to work and that’s because Kmet was the the emergency option when the play broke down

No, coaching does.

Entire offense looks like that this year.

Maybe caleb is shit then if fields made kmet and dj moore and the run game good?

Kmet was top 3 in every tight end stat up until waldron stopped using him after the bye.

Not sure kmet is an issue. Everyone on the team isnt trying anymore, just look at jaylon johnson

Cole kmet doesnt suck, anyone who says he does didnt watch the last few years.

This waldron scheme is trash, thats what sucks.

Somehow every player is dropping balls and looking like shit on offense
Did the Bears outplay the 49ers?

Nope they got their asses kicked, that doesnt change what you said earlier in the week being dumb af

The team has clearly quit, there is minimal effort on both ends from multiple players. They actually tried vs the division teams you said are light years ahead of the bears, which is why they lost by 7 points combined in 3 games

everybody on here always blames the coaches, while they are a problem, sooner or later the players have to shoulder some of the blame
This is 100% the truth but CCS is just too locked on it always being the coaches fault for everything. The coaches obviously take on the most blame but Caleb and others also deserve blame. Caleb has not been great and that's a fact. The receivers have all dropped what should have been easy catches. I love C.Kmet and he doesn't have a problem with catching passes but that 2 point conversion hit him right where it should have. D.Swift goes down on first contact too easily and isn't great with his vision to find the right hole to burst through or waiting for the right one to open.

The defense just isn't that great but has some really good talent. JJ is great but hasn't been as great this year but still has been just fine. Byard is fine. Brisker is fine but the injuries are every year. I love Kyler Gordon and have no issues with him. T.Stevenson has regressed and he wasn't great to begin with but thought he was showing he had a chance to be really good at the end of last year. Sorry Gervon Dexter fans but he's not a great 3T, he's good but sometimes disappears. I'm a big M.Sweat fan but he doesn't get to the QB the way the great ones do and like he's paid to do. Said it when we drafted him that he's never had over 10 sacks in a season. TJ Edwards is good and worth what he's paid. Tremaine Edmunds is way overpaid and also have been saying that since we paid him.

Poles traded a 2nd for A WR, where is that guy now?
Poles is not a good GM---You won't hear any argument from me. I was just pointing out that you don't usually give $50 million to a guy you think sucks. So no, Poles does not think Kmet sucks.

Yeah man they are right on the Lions’ heels you got it. Maybe next week they’ll get five yards in the first half.

Hopefully the Bears were paying attention yesterday in how to properly use a TE that can catch. Kittle went for 6 catches yesterday and 151 yards. He completely dominated the middle of the field and destroyed the Bears by getting downfield.

A huge part of Brady's success was because of Gronk.
A huge part of Mahomes success is because of Kelce.

Why do the Bears make everything so difficult?
That is a very fair question to ask Brown when he is at the podium. Of course no one will because the Bears beat guys are just groveling sniveling suckups...(Grote included)

Reporter: Coach......George Kittle yesterday.Six targets, six catches, 151 yards. Cole Kmet...0 targets, 0 catches, 0 yards. Care to expound?

But it will never happen as all those guys are worried their lunch room pass might get revoked.

He doesnt suck. If he was in green bay with lafleur he would be lighting it up.

Not in the same category as some dominant nfl TE's but the drops were never an issue until recently, and it looks like its an issue for every player on the offense.

I think Kmet is a starting caliber NFL TE. I don't think he's great. But his "success rate" of 42 catches in 50 targets is off the charts by Bears' standards. Caleb is terribly inaccurate....all of the WRs are below 50% and somehow even Williams throwing dump offs to Swift/Johnson/'Homer' has only a 50% success rate.
How can that % work when he completed over 73% of his passes?

Kmet didnt have a drop the prior two years i believe and was one of the most reliable pass catchers in the NFL

He's also one of the highest players in separation distance the last few years.

He also was top 3 in TD's the last few years.

This is just a bad scheme, kmet isnt kittle or kelce but he's a borderline top 10 TE who is in a shit scheme with a rookie TE. If he was on the packers he'd be tearing it up right now.
you've been making excuses for Kmet since the day the bears drafted him, if he was so great with separation he wouldn't be going multiple games with no targets

Maybe the qb should do a thing called throw him the ball?

Kmet cant throw himself the ball. Derp. A large problem of calebs game is he doesnt check down and kmet is running the shallow routes. Its also why our rb's dont catch the ball as much as they should.

And he is great at separation, go check nfl next gen stats. This isnt some bullshit PFF number, its part of the official nfl stat page.

every year, a new coach, any coach will fix things with excellent play calling and other worldly schemes, yet nothing ever changes except for one time 39 years ago

he did throw him the ball on the two point miss, and good old cement hands dropped it, oh well I guess he was a little rusty
