Interesting how chemistry is brought up as well as him being a "cancer". He was fine at Kentucky and hasn't had any incidents in Sacramento. His issue is complacency, but with a coach like Thibodeau, I believe that could easily be fixed.

Chemistry amongst 30 year olds and 20 year olds is a completely different matter. Apples and oranges.

um his attitude issues have been a prominent issue..calipari(though a slimebag) is good at containing egos and attitudes...

no incidents in sacramento? i would say demanding a trade is a big one..

plus we dont know what goes on in the locker room...my guess is he isnt the most well received when he only plays for himself and becomes a black hole

he's still a monster with a lot of tools....but now there's no one that is really keeping him contained(mentally)

Not at all. I find it funny how everyone believes he's like Zambrano when that is the farthest from the truth.

he's averaging 1.5 this season...at uk he averaged around 1.5..he's not d howard....but he can swat shots...part of whether he gets alot of blocks is based around his defensive work ethic as well...

again. 4 games. Averages mean nothing after 4 games.

1.5 BPG in college? still not impressive. 6'11 guys can average a block per game by accident

Attitude issues, sure. But he hasn't assaulted a Gatorade machine, gotten into any physical altercations or anything of the sort.

And again with the Calipari stereotype.

6'11 guys can also not average even close to 1...like eddy curry(not the best example but just off the top of my head)

cousins is a good shot blocker...again part of it is simply effort

Asik and Korver for Cousins I would do in a second. That's obviously not going to be enough, but he'd be more than worthy of that trade.

Doubtful. It might actually be too much. Once a team tells a player they're better off withouth him than they are with him, they've lost trade value. They're saying, this guy's a problem and we want someone to take him.

all of the good shot blockers in the NBA average well over 1 throughout a season.

Cousins averaged .8 last season.

1.5 through 4 games means nothing.

And cousins always swats at shots because he doesn't know how to play defense. of course he'll get some blocks

i atleast gave him credit....sorry but the dude is basically a car salesman

i can see parallels between him and zambrano he has been less adamant and less physically confrontational than zambrano....but that doesnt mean he doesnt have attitude issues...

right now he just has alot of red flags..he's a monster but at this point he's not really going to help any teams

I don't like Calipari, but it's because of all the one-and-dones he recruits and his coaching philosophy. I'll defend him against the stereotypes people have of him because they're unfounded. But that's another debate for another day.

only kind of teams I see trading for Cousins are teams like the Bobcats, T-Wolves [although they have a lot of bigs] Wizards [cuz of Wall] and other bad teams.

No good team is going to trade for him. Unless it's a team that's confident they can control his attitude. Bulls won't take that risk.

right...just because you block shots doesnt mean you are a good defender....

i wouldnt say he always swats at shots..thats a bit hyperbolic

but he isnt a bad shot blocker...again it hasa bit to do with the effort..partly cousins is still learning how to play in the NBA(he has a very large learning curve because of his mentality...but despite that learning curve he's such a physical presence he can still be a factor)

So all car salespeople are slimeballs?

I agree with Crys' point, there's really no need to make the trade.

And in regards to Lex's point in acquiring assets for Dwight Howard, I just don't see why the Magic wouldn't want what the Bulls have. If they don't, I don't believe Cousins would be the missing piece in getting Howard here.

He has some upside so a team like Orlando might find him appealing since they've relied on points in the post.
