So all car salespeople are slimeballs?

I agree with Crys' point, there's really no need to make the trade.

And in regards to Lex's point in acquiring assets for Dwight Howard, I just don't see why the Magic wouldn't want what the Bulls have. If they don't, I don't believe Cousins would be the missing piece in getting Howard here.

his persona is like a car salesperson..not all are slimeballs..but some are

its not an absolute

its the nature of the business

Not at all. I find it funny how everyone believes he's like Zambrano when that is the farthest from the truth.

Well, I don't think he's like Zambrano. Zambrano is a guy that I don't want on my team, if I don't have a contender. I would take Cousins if we didn't have a contender. Since we have a contender, keep Cousins away.

Sorry Uman, your UK lovefest with this guy isn't helping.

He has some upside so a team like Orlando might find him appealing since they've relied on points in the post.

considering what they want for howard....coupled with cousins still having issues...i still doubt orlando would take this deal...though taj would be a nice addition for them

they rely on points in the post because of howard...its about adapting the game to their best player

No, it's an outline. There would have to be draft picks involved. This doesnt allow you to include draft picks.

or cash incentives....i would guess draft picks would have to be given to orlando since their part of the trade seems uneven

Not a UK love-fest at all. I knew him when he was at UK and just like him as a person. I just feel like he can change and will sooner or later. I just hope he does while he can still have a good career in the league.

Yeah, but their offense is build in such a way where they've used outside shooters to offset the points they get in the paint. The outside shooting is a compliment to having low post scoring. Thats the way they've been constructed.

But he actually has a VERY good team with a very good coach right now with some awesome fans. They need time to mature, and then maybe they could add a piece to become the next OKC.

methinks Cousins just wants to go wherever he wants, more than he just wants out of Sac. Tally up another to follow the Carmelo model.

I don't like Calipari, but it's because of all the one-and-dones he recruits and his coaching philosophy. I'll defend him against the stereotypes people have of him because they're unfounded. But that's another debate for another day.

this has actually more evolved in the last 5 years...during his days at umass and earlier in memphis he actually had alot of talented teams staying 3-4 years..guys like chris douglas roberts....he did have some serious young talent though like dajuan wagner...though he completely shat himself in the nba

i believe amare would have gone there, though had it not been for the nba calling

calipari had josh pastner and some other guys helping him at memphis, one of the recruiters is at A&m right now i believe

anyway, its not a coincidence that two teams have had final fours vacated because of cal,but thats another debate

cal can recruit and he's a good coach though, i'll give him that..

can't coach his guys FT shooting though

:smug:

partly because of howard..he demands attention in the post and he can kick it out...they did alot of 4 around when they had lewis...the question is do they want to rely on cousins and gibson as compliments to their outside shooting?

the deal breaker would have to be cash and/or picks i just dont see orlando accepting this deal

Scaramento is a good team?

Unless their next piece is a star of Durant's caliber, I don't see Sacramento competing for awhile.

But...but...they have JIMMER!

And 'Reke Evans shooting like 50% from the line and 20% from the field it seems. :smh:

Exactly. Thats because he gets 20 and 10 plus. This might be their best chance to get someone who can give them that in the post now. Most Cs in the NBA now aren't exactly evolved offensively.

Yeah, they are a good team. They're a Center away from being a perennial playoff team. This team is stockpiled with talent, they're just very young with no real veteran leadership.

i like that you brought up OKC.

they were a very young team, with young talent that struggled a lot early together and finally figured it out.

SAC had the chance to do that, but I guess Cousins was "unwilling/unable to embrace traveling in the same direction as his team."

obviously Evans, Cousins etc are no Durant and westbrook.. but they could have grown together.

Don't disregard that Sac has more to work with than OKC did. But it's a close comparison. Maybe closer than we think. Sac might move, like the Sonics moved.

I really hate that trend. I hope this new CBA can stop that trend from continuing. Loyalty should mean more in professional sports.

Tyreke and Cousins actually could've been something special. So much talent in just those two alone. And if Jimmer could end up as good as JJ Redick, then they'd have an insane inside-outside combo.

I think he can have a good career, but I don't want the Bulls to be the team taking the risk. They have too much to lose. Send him to the Wizards and see if him and Wall can get something going.

I think he can change, but don't want the before-the-change player on the Bulls.

Leave Cousins hanging out there and include the Kings in a 3-team trade for Howard.
