I generally like your posts but you really get bugs up your ass.

LoL

It's like some of you are just meeting Botfly again for the first time.

He's kind of right though. I have found the trash talking being thrown between Bears Fans and the Lions Fan very amusing. Nevermind both these team have been flatout owned by either the Pack or the Vikes or even both at the same time just about every season since the Birth of the NFC North, but let's argue over which team's playoff drought is worse like it should make anyone feel better. That is just trolling yourselves, but whateves.

You do you, Bear Nation.

Wait, how many first round...no TOP 10 PICK receivers did the lions draft prior to Calvin? If I recall, Charles Rodgers(Picked #2 Overall), Mike Williams(pick #10 overall), Roy Williams(pick #7 overall). Then mercifully they hit with Calvin. Lions fans Really should not talk shit with misses at WR.

Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Roy Williams had 4 years with the Lions in which he had, 817, 687, 1,310, and 838 yards. He then got traded to Dallas for a first round pick. Hell, he had more yards than Alan Robinson at the time he got traded from the Lions (and no ACL injury either).......

This will be Kevin White's 4th year with the Bears, to date he has 193 yards. He would be lucky to get traded for a stale donut. Hell, even Charles Rodgers had more than twice as many yards as Kevin White, and 4 Td's to whites goose egg. And at White's current pace, he will reach Mike Williams career totals in 21 years.

Nice comparison.

A better comparison:

Matt Millen career win %.................................... 27% (easily the worst gm To ever manage a NFL football team)
Ryan Pace career win %...................................29% (thought by many on here to be a good, if not great GM)

I am waiting for your overdue "I love pace thread"

That's the thing with you, you come across as thinking because posters here aren't constantly bitching about Pace and starting threads complaining about him they're Pace nuthuggers. Nobody is overating him. Which equates to this thread and you claiming Pace is being overrated, I think most reallize the mess he had, this season the team needs to make a good showing or the fans will begin to put Pace on the hotseat. You're too early, name another GM that would have made a difference, sure it's possible another GM would have gotten 10 more wins, say by by to the high draft picks though. Give it a rest.

We really comparing losing seasons here? I think we all know who wins that tallest midget competition... 0-16 ring a bell?

Ah yes, the 2008 0-16 Lions, perhaps the worst football team to ever play the game, with the worst Roster. No arguments there. Glad you brought it up though.....

Seeing how this thread is about Ryan Pace, and if Bears fans have him overated as a GM, how did the following three years unfold under a new Gm for the lions

2009............................. 2-14
2010............................. 6-10
2011............................ 10-6

How does that compare to Ryan "Snails" Pace rebuild?

LOL, all this because a few Bears fans are all butt-hurt because I made the comment Pace stumbled out of the blocks.......

My original post to this thread:

Too date he has been less than average. He still has a chance to turn things around, a lot will depend on his 2017 draft class, and his 2018 FA signings.

LMAO. A little sensitive are we? Now who was it that brought up the Lions? And if people don't like talking about them, why do they always bring them up? Xero?? Oh, and a little tidbit for you, The Lions, as terrible as they have been, have never finished last 4 years in a row. The Bears stand a good chance of making it 5, second only to Cleveland (7).

You don't realize this but outside of Chicago, pace is considered the worst gm in the league. Emery and angelo were better than pace and never got this kind of irrational love from bears fans.

Great job guys. CCS has now become the #1 place on the internet to debate dorkchop Lions fans.

Good job Crys, is this is totally better than the traffic that Grim and HHM drove.

Have you actually tried adding something of substance to the forum, or are you just a whiney ***** talking about fog machines?

So answer the question, what GM was available at the time of Pace's hiring and how much better would things be with a different GM? Playoffs... 10-6 record on the books?

That’s pure unsubstantiated bullshit. You might find a writer somewhere that thinks that but that hardly proves anything. Talk about a broad, ridiculous generalization...

How could anyone answer that question? I am quite sure there were other GM candidates, but projecting what that Gm's record would have been is impossible. It still doesn't change anything I said.

Wake up, cuz I think it's gonna happen sooner then you think. Bears fans know we've sucked for the last 4 years, you're not telling us anything we don't know. I mean heck, we even lost to the Lions. Of course, that was with a Canadian Football coach, and two injury riddled years as well. Yes, the Bears had more games missed due to injuries than any other team by far.

I'm not trying to make excuses either, but those are the facts. I think you're here enjoying this BS cuz you know it's coming to an end. Myself, I will think of you for a brief second while eating a Turkey drumstick and watching my Bears dismantle your Lions on Thanksgiving. Be sure to come back then big guy.

My last response to you in this thread was in regard to the last post of your's I read. Haven't been reading your posts since then.

In regards to how anyone could answer the question he keeps bringing up 14-34 so he must have a record in mind that would be acceptable.

A bunch of morons on here that don't understand how a rebuild works. The Pace haters can only bring up his record but when you tear a old team down and start a complete rebuild losing is what comes with that and it's hilarious that many don't seem to understand that. R.Pace has done a great job with this rebuild and did it the right way. He didn't get impatient and try to make bad moves or sign high priced free agents to rich contracts that they weren't worth to try to speed up the rebuild. He stayed patient with it and got the QB he wanted when he had the chance to get him. I can't believe so many people still can't see how good of a job he has done. I've been saying that i still see one more off season to complete the rebuild which will most likely be mostly focused on getting at least one legit OLB to play opposite L.Floyd and depending on what Floyd does this season he might even have to get two. We have plenty of talent now so now our coaches need to do their job and get this team playing winning football. I could see it taking next season for all of these new players to learn how to play with each other and learn the system and Trubs is still very green so next season is big for him to learn the new system and his new receivers.

You all are trolling yourselves in here. I thought we were better than this on this board.

Not really. Look at the articles posted. Can you find me a national writer that thinks he is doing a good job?

Im sure browns fans dont have anything positive to say about the browns. And I bet pat fans love their team. I think we are closer to browns fans in that you are batshit crazy if you have something positive to say.

Only thing worse than that is losing 9 out of the last ten games to that very team, and setting a conference record for the most consecutive last place finishes. No worries though, another year, and another year added to your record lol.
As a Lion's fan do you really want to dig into the past? Doesn't that set you for something like this...……before Trestman/Fox the Bears under Lovie Smith were 13-5 against the Lions. It's just cherry picking, and we could both do it.

Back to the question at hand, the way I see it Pace came in as the youngest GM in the league, made his share of blunders in the draft and free agency and seems to have learned from those mistakes. As with any GM you have to take the good with the bad along with the hits and misses.
