Trent Williams to 49er’s on a 6yr/$138 million deal. Largest ever for an OL.
Yeah, without looking at the deets I'm willing to bet it's front loaded deal that gives the 9ers some flexibility towards the backend of the contract. That's pretty insane for a 33 year old dude.

The Jet had a Monster off season a few years ago, and on paper it looked like they had the strongest team in the NFL.
They screwed up at qb. It pretty much tanked a promising team. Sounds familiar doesn’t it?The Jet had a Monster off season a few years ago, and on paper it looked like they had the strongest team in the NFL.
The teams that are strong along the o-line and d-line compete every year, but it seems like FA deals for good line play, never grabs the headlines, of course the Williams deal is the exception....
Peterson is a below average CB at this point in his career.Vikes need a CB badly.....but Peterson has lost a step and will be older/ripe for injuries
And kickers the year before. It's been an effective methodI don't know what he necessarily means by that. Are the Bears just going to do with quarterbacks this year what they did with tight ends last year?
