Wow. He really wanted to stay in Tampa. That's only 18 AAV, which is the same as Trey Flowers. I thought for sure he would command over 20 per year on the open market. He's a top pass rusher and has a superbowl ring, and dominated the NFC championship.

They could pay a RB $10M because they were paying their franchise QB $1M. That's not the case in GB.
Very good point. Pretty much erases the precedent. Also Marshawn Lynch was a generational type runner, as good as Aaron Jones is he isn't Marshawn Lynch. Not even close.

So now Tampa Bay is paying Chris Godwin, Shaq Barrett, Lavonte David and Tom Brady a fraction of what they would fetch on the open market. Incredible, they have to be the overwhelming favorites for a repeat. That team is fucking loaded.

49ers just resigned their soon to be 30 year old FB to a 5 year, $27M contract.....

I'm sure there will be some fuckery in the contract, but that makes no sense in what is a cap strapped season.

I do wonder what Zeitler to Baltimore means. That is more money committed to the offensive line that isn't going to Orlando Brown Jr.

Their needs for next year were Edge, DLine, WR, and a pass catching RB. They took care of 2 of those by re-signing their own guys. They can potentially trade up to get someone like Etienne and then take a pretty good DL in the 2nd.

Baltimore has Brown under contract for cheap ($2M?). I think they know he's going to be gone after this season or they will franchise him based on what their team looks like. Either way, they aren't signing him to top LT money when they are already paying someone top LT money on the roster.

He's likely going to be traded as he wants to play LT and the Ravens have Stanley.
