I think you'd have to add Michael Godard to your book. I used to like his stuff until I saw about 100 paintings all of the same damn thing. It got old fast. At first it was clever but he killed it.

It would be a fitting "dedication" or hommage to IHN IMO. Also, he couldn't go with velvet art as that is universal and spans all the races---everybody loves their asses some velvet art! Whites, blacks, hispanics, asians. . .THAT is the true and proven medium for the masses not painterly shit.

I actually own a coffee table book of Velvet Art (it was a gift)... it's pretty fucking awesome.

Pip farting on a snare drum.

"I ain't fartin' on no snare drum..."

Very nice reference, Sir.

What do we think... would all those "inspirational" posters count? Like the actual ones... not the ones rampant on the interwebs...

Oh, **** YEAH! Fo' sho there's a lot of uninspiring and bad Godard artwork. It's so testosterone-y cheesy and ham-fisted IMO.

Would it kill you to provide an actual url or like maybe an actual title? So that we could all check out this so-called awesomeness ourselves?

You do know that being his "I was just experimenting" butt buddy is not the same as being an artistic apprecntice and thusly the latter does not guarantee you TCD sexy times right?

Just because you can't understand the sweet sweet art we'll make doesn't mean it's not art. But I guess we could find a blue dog somewhere so you'll understand what we are trying to express.

Macaroni art from your 6th grade art fair?

JUST KIDDING!

That's actually really cool and that's coming from someone who usually doesn't "get" art (or many things for that matter).

The skulls are a nice touch. The guy in the middles is isolated from the chaos around him? Or swarmed by it? The red signifies blood, right?
