Wasn't sure where to put this but decided to put it here as I thought surely both TCD and the Mule would see it. Seems like a perfect element that would appease them both.

You're totally right. I love it. My bike would look so awesome in there and my books would look even better!

I heard that! As a carless man, and the nature of my pad, the bike is always in a bad spot... As soon as the place obtained is given, Daddy will have his amex card out!

That is expensive but it is made of solid wood instead of vaneered particle board. Not to mention it looks like each one is hand made. I really wish I had better wood working tools so I could make something like that. I do think $299 is a bit steep.

Sheesh, for that price I'd just try and make it myself... any bike I'd buy wouldn't even be worth that much money.

I got a D in shop in high school...

If it doesnt have RCA outs or a hard drive, I am pretty useless.

I didn't know exactly where to put this so I thought I would throw it here to jumpstart it. I thought this stuff was amazing

Kris Kuksi’s Beautiful Art is Made From the Bones of Dead Model Kits

Kris Kuksi is an American artist who is famous for his signature sculptures, which he modestly labels as being comprised of "mixed media assemblage".

What he actually means is "made out of the pieces of seemingly unrelated model kits". Go on, take a closer look. While from a distance the pieces appear to be a mish-mash of romantic and apocalyptic imagery, zoom in and you'll see the intricate detail is made up of things like pieces of old machinery, miniatures of Napoleonic soldiers and the pieces of World War Two battleships.

Kuksi's art is highly sought-after; some of the people who own a piece include the boss of Nike, Guillermo Del Toro and Robin Williams.

You can see more examples of Kuksi's work at his personal site.

Speaking of Art...

I finally got the chance to intoduce Miška to the late, great Bob Ross.

I don't care who you are, if you don't think Bob Ross was the man, you deserve to have your procreative bits blowtorched.

That's pretty bad ass stuff. I would love to own a piece. Though, I don't even want to know how much they cost.

Did you check out his site? He doesn't just do sculptures, but yeah, I bet it's very expensive.

I love these surrealist oil paintings.

Unbelievable not only the surrealist imagery but hot damn that's incredible detail. As one who prefers abstract or minimalism I can still get an art boner over those who conquer detail like him. I have to wonder how long one of those takes the artist to finish because those are very delicate sensitive details and line work. Would love to see his work in person.

Here are 3 quick pieces I just did. It's acrylic on glass. A technique that I won't share with others because I am going to start dominating it.
