At what point does Rose overtake Pippen?

Rose is DEFINITELY a better offensive player than Scottie Pippen!

Way, way faster.
Much better finisher around the rim.
Better mid-range shooter.
Better play-maker.

Pippen is the much, much, much better defender. And the better rebounder. But only a fool would claim Pippen was better offensively than Rose.

Because he is better defensive player, better offensive player, better understands the game, better all around player, IQ, hard-worker.
Scottie was not a leader in bulls team (except 94 and 95 seasons) but defense of bulls team based on him, almost in every game he had triple-double, plus 2 blocks and steals.
Derrick is still young and don't have "pro-vision" yet and game understanding.

Better playmaker? Scottie pippen ran an offense that produced six championships. Derrick rose is 22. And has a looooooooong way to go before he can trump pippen.

And how is rose a better scorer? He takes more shots and that's about it. Pippen is much more efficient. Better in the post. Better 3pt shooter, and a better mid range shooter too. Rose doesn't even have much confidence in his jumpshot.

As i said nowadays there is only 8 teams max that are contenders so Rose can win 60+ games with guys from high school.
he is talented and finished some games but there was also bad performances by him

I think Rose is more Dwyane Wade than Iverson personally...I think offensively he is a better player than Pippen...Pip never garnered the attention of defenses the way Rose does, even in Pip's prime. And I still say Rose doesn't have to win titles to be better than Pippen...those were Jordan's titles, he was the man. Rose doesn't have a Mitch Richmond, let alone a Jordan.
Is Parish greater than Robinson? Rodman better than Barkley? I don't think so. All 4 are great players...but I can say from watching all 4, I would take David Robinson over Parish and I would take Barkley over Rodman...yet Rodman and Parish have rings...that changes nothing for me...Notice Shaq was on the top 50 list too, at that time, he had won no titles...yet he was considered already an all time great.

Those were jordans titles? Don't be a fool. Pippen played a major role in those 6 championships.

And rodman is better than barkley. I've always thought barkley was overrated. He was constantly over weight, and was an atrocious defender. He was an amzing offensive player, and rebounder, but that's about it. The only reason rodman isn't ranked higher is due to his off the court antics. Rodman has accomplished much more than barkley. 7 rebounding titles, 2 dpoy awards the all defense teams. And I'm not gonna even gonna mention the 5 championships. Barkley has 1 mvp and a few all nba selections.

Rodman was a winner, id pick him over barkley any day.c

The Bulls of Tex Winter run a much more complex TRIANGLE. It was a team-ran, balanced offense. Jordan had the ball just as much as Pippen. Hell, Grant had the ball almost as often as Pippen did.

Incorrect. Pippen's assists numbers went DOWN and turnovers went UP when Jordan was with the White Sox affiliate.

Rose was undeniably better as a scorer and passer than Pippen. Anyone who thinks otherwise is in complete denial.
