Taco Bell near my house tells me that the drive-thru is closed and orders needed to be placed inside.

The time before that I was told the restaurant was simply "out of product".

Time before that I was told they needed 45 minutes to cook fresh "beef".

Before that, the drive-thru was so full you couldn't (or didn't want to) even get in line.

I mean, I've been to many Taco Bells in my life and only one was nearly this bad, but that location never once failed to take an order and deliver food.

I am starting to suspect Ruth from Ozark is ruinning my local Taco Bell.

Anyone else have one of these?

I certainly don't eat at what I dub the shit tier of fast food.

The nerve of this guy even mentioning an establishment such as Taco Bell has me feeling queasy.
Where do you dine at sir?

Well, if it makes you feel better, my Taco Bell doesn't allow me to eat at the (literal) shit tier.
I feel fabulous now.

I'd go to Chipotle, but then I'd have to interact with people much more directly.

Yuck.

Portillos is my lazy go to. Sometimes Buona Beef.. but really I just don't get fast food all that often, I prefer more local restaurants.

They are also hit-or-miss, depending on location.

Better to go, watch them make your burrito, so they don't skimp.

The Chipotle down at UIUC when I was there, would pack a burrito so full it was difficult to finish one.

I ordered a burrito on DoorDash a couple months ago and it was like 8 grains of rice, 6 beans, 5 pieces of meat, 3 pieces of cheese, and a thimble of sour cream and salsa each, wrapped in a cold tortilla.

Seemingly most of the Chipotle's my friends would go to when we were in college / early 20s ended up closing due to health inspections lol.

That's because you used DoorDash.

The Pancheros by me is horrible. I went in a few years ago and got a standard burrito. It tasted/smelled like a wet dirty rag.

You know, like the ones they use to wipe down the counter. I almost threw up.

Also, I saw someone on FB the other day say “We really need a Long John Silvers in town”

Uh Long John silvers is still a thing?

I remember eating hush puppies as a kid but I bet I haven’t had it for 20 years

You were eating Mexican food in Iowa, so this is on you.
