Hire Ben Johnson as HC in the offseason. Fire Waldron and let Johnson bring in a guy as OC.
Going back to Waldron and his personnel usage issues. How the **** is Kmet only targeted once in a game like this? Now, maybe some of it was OL breakdowns or Caleb just missing him, certainly plausible. But even with that, I still say how the **** is Kmet only given 1 target when he has shown to be one of your best weapons the past couple of years.
Defense still gave up almost 500yds of offense though. Red zone defense is highly volatile year to year so you can’t count in the defense only giving up 18pts when they give up 485 ydsThe defense was phenomenal, and a banged up defense.
Redskins leading the NFL with 31 ppg had 12 until the very lucky play. The Bears are so fortunate to have a defense like that to keep is in a game where the offense is middle school level.
Complaining about Everflus is just silly. Maybe he and Poles made a poor decision with the OC, and I'm not anywhere near certain of that either.
I mean Caleb had 4 completions until late in the 3rd.

Caleb can't carry the team and Ebflus & Waldron lose their minds in key situations.
Caleb air mailing a zero yard pass to Keenan Allen was absurd. If he didn't have the rep, he'd have been called for multiple grounding penalties. He had no pocket presence and was CLEARLY outplayed by Daniels.
I don't know what exactly happened, perhaps Jaylon Johnson wanted to play hero ball and snag an INT with 5 seconds left, but the Bears defense simply allowed the Redskins to get into hail mary range. What on earth was that?
The goal line call at the end I assume was on Waldron, but regardless it was a joke. As was the 1st and goal pass attempt by Williams. Why is this so difficult?
Yes this please. I honestly hope they go 1-9 the rest of the way just to ensure this happens.I’m sick of hearing “but Flus calls a good defense”, as an excuse for not firing him. He’s the damn HC, not the DC. He’s been in over his head as HC from day 1, and it’s painfully obvious to anyone who is being objective.
Get through the season, fire Flus, and give Ben Johnson what he wants.

In my mind, if you guys hate Flus so much, why does Poles get a pass. He is in charge of EVERYTHING.
Some of us have been consistent in saying he should've been fired for bringing Flus back in the first place. I think he sucks at evaluating OL and WR. I hate that he gives away late round draft picks for guys who he could've gotten on the waiver wire or cut list. Seems like a good dude but I don't care for his GM-ing given the consistent issues (interior OL) that haven't been fixed in 2+ seasons.
I agree with the interior line part. Maybe it's my imagination, but I feel like 5th round picks are constantly traded for somebody that isn't really wanted and pray that he might be the answer.
As far as the 1st part, I am sold on Everflus, wasn't thrilled with hiring him (although he was defense). But when I see a team play as hard as this Bears team , I think he's the reason.
I understood the tear down in year 1. It was the right move, and the necessary move, to start purging the roster of bloated contracts and players. And I am tired of hearing Fire Flus for everything and anything including every penalty, every non scoring drive, anything and everything that goes wrong on any play. He was dealt a hand of eliminate every good player, and then you guys blame him for the record during the breakdown.
It is brutal on here as a result.
Good posters like yourself too.
