he called a good game until the end in a critical moment, where he collapsed like he always does

that makes 4 games the last two years where the bears had over 95% odds to win, but lost

he sucks
Run his strategy against a simulation 1000 times and I bet it’s correct.

Games aren’t won on “simulations.” lol such cope here

Simulations lead to making the best decision rather than relying on a few examples of good outcomes and relying on them as the basis of your decision making.

Take 2 and come back in the morning.

No simulation would advocate for the no sidelines defense the play before the Hail Mary.

No simulation would advocate for leaving your best pash rushers on the sideline

No simulation advocates not using a Timeout before that Hail Mary play

I agree on the timeout and rushing the passer with only three. We know we aren’t getting any holding calls we should have send a 4th.

So, you can at least agree that the coaching should have prevented this mess up then

Somehow the entire NFL universe from retired coaches to fans of every fan base to journalists all agree that this was a clusterfuck of a coaching job…except for Bears homers.

  • Flus and his staff got caught with their pants down - really need to work on clock management, timeout use and challenges. Could've taken a TO on Washingtons last drive to get the right personnel on the field for hail mary, or to talk about covering sidelines on previous pass.
  • We were in position to win a game, we had no business winning (thanks to D)
  • Swift is a baller, give him more touches
  • OL is trash - same thing i said 2, 5 and 10 years ago
  • Caleb and the offense perform very well in hurry up offense. Coaches need to figure out why that is and make adjustments based on that. Its not as if teams are in prevent D, because like yesterday, its a 1 score game.
  • Stevenson should be benched for a game, due to his dumbass behavior and lack of discipline
  • Lets stop the meatball cry about holding on the last play of the game - refs typically dont flag a hail mary attempt

Too late. If the team was disciplined and the coaches/captains held people accountable to this point this would not have happened in the first place.

Pickens in Pittsburgh has had issues and Tomlin is considered to be a great coach.

The team is disciplined, otherwise the captains wouldn't be addressing the bad apple.

We can fuss about Flus as a HC i suppose, but it is very hard to argue his defense and scheme are not down right nasty. Does the stupid stuff need to be addressed? Sure. Time management? Well, that is a matter of opinion. Bears lost on a fluke. At this point I can't wait to take 2 from Green Bay.

We haven’t beaten them once in the last 5 seasons, that’s some kind of optimism

Players need to make plays. That didn't happen. Coaches failed over a bye week - again. GM failed to provide an NFL ready O-line. BUt, the punter looked good. It was a complete team loss all around.
'Cept for that punter

What does that have to do with the Bears?
Your premise was that a team that is disciplined dont have these kind of problems so I gave you an example that disproves your theory.

This is like any other workplace. No matter how good the culture or the discipline there will always be guys that **** up. The question is what you do once that happens.
