DJ did a great job with accountability. He even said they will address Stevenson for his actions. Although I still think Stevenson should be benched next game. The D has shown up and performed. Those 4 games he lost could have gone either way. If we simulate those scenarios out over 1,000X his strategy is the correct one.

No they were fine with it because they ran it in a “simulation.” A simulation is the end-all, be-all. Not the actual game itself. We are perfectly content knowing that the coach made the right call based on a simulation but not the actual result. Seems legit.

It's lapses in Eberflus's judgment, decision making and personnel in these key situations that show he will NEVER be a good head coach.
- Eberflus decided that the personnel for the final play was to put 6' 5" Ertz against two DBs that are 5' 11". Where was Kmet or Odunze like we used to see Gronk out there defending final hail mary attempts to neutralize height advantages?
- Eberflus elected to give up a free 13 yards and the sideline to move the hail mary attempt into an actual achievable throw distance
- Eberflus said they didn't need a timeout called to ensure they were ready to execute their defense plan on the hail mary. Apparently seeing Stevenson taunting the fans and the play kicking off without him even aware to it was not a good reason to call timeout.

We've seen this play out time and again with Flus. Even if the Bears stumbled into the playoffs, you can't have any confidence that in a tight game that Eberflus would not make the right calls to actually beat a good team in a tight, situational arrangement. He should've never been around for this season.

Should only read Flus and Waldron.

Flus is getting hammered by sports media today for his asinine comments regarding the last 2 plays. Somehow he thinks the out route before the hail Mary didn't matter, which contradicts what he did on the field when he literally walked onto the field to wave the corners to move up.

If you pay any attention there are always misses and lapses when it comes to details in every game since Flus has been here.

Poor preparation. Poor decision making. Poor challenges and timeout usage.
