Thanks again for letting us know that QBs that get to the Super Bowl multiple times tend to be really fucking good
Don't be too hard in him. If the conversations recently have proven anything, it's that there are clearly people here who do not see this correlation.

Why the **** are the Bears the only team to always give a "Preparing to sign..." notice? This should be wrapped up already
How else would you give their intended target the advance warning to run away kicking and screaming?

This they learned from Michael McCaskey when the Bears gave advance warning to Dave McGinnis.

I think they should still hire Klint Kubiak as an assistant OC. Would be great to have both Waldron and Kubiak planing and creating together.
And Roman as the run game coordinator to force Waldron to continue to run the ball.

Well, good news, the Bears can bring in a ton of UDFA RBs and have a running back by committee approach, getting close to the same results as they would with drafted RBs.

Every once in a while the RB room would get a "Johnson, report to the running game coordinator ... and bring your playbook." to which RB Johnson would ask, "Am I being cut?".

The coach would then say, "No, you are not going to be cut" and then he would whisper under his breath, 'Roman is going to swallow you whole, like a huge snake would do. No need for cuts'.

I think Poles wanted a McVay disciple is because technically Getsy is one too. Matt Lafluer is a McVay disciple. All things point to Fields staying because concepts and verbiage won't be a dramatic change.

There are 26-27 players on offense who would have an easier time with Waldron so no it doesnt have to mean Fields is staying. It could just mean they believe in the system and want to make it easier for everyone else that is staying which may not include the QB.

Is this the same snake that Ice cube and JLo were running from deep in the Amazon in 1997?

This and he likes to run the timing quick throw stuff. Not exactly what Fields has been best at so far.

I'm sure Waldron is one of the first coaches to sign with a team this cycle cause he's so excited to work with Fields lol

Yes. He is excited to work with Fields. Nice to see you finally coming around. Atta boy!

Yet his biggest struggles in the NFL so far have been when he's asked to play from the pocket, especially when asked to get the ball out quickly.
The biggest struggle with nobody to throw to, a lack of protection, and, when finally getting the time, it’s Getsy! Yeah. This argument doesn’t jive when reality hits it.

Looks like CW is the pick… it’s the safe play for the jobs involved. Buys you at least a year or two with a Rookie. That and it’s cheaper for a few years.
Opinion of course but makes the most sense from a job security aspect.

Could be

'Carolina Panthers
Roman's first coaching job was with the Carolina Panthers in 1995, where he started as the unpaid strength and conditioning coach'

Since he wasn't paid, he had to find free sources of protean.

No he isn't. He's never been a coach under McVay.

No. I usually do, but it is easier to go through a thread and hit the plus sign to add in quotes. Feel free to edit and respond as you just did with this post.
