They have good BBQ there? Never heard that before.
Northern FL is more associated with Southern culture. I can't remember the name of the place I ate at last time I was in town. It was somewhere near the Zoo. Ask the locals if you go there. Sonny's would have a location there, too. They will know. It's like St Louis. Does anyone think of St Louis as a big BBQ town? I don't, but Pappy's Smokehouse (near SLU's sports complex) is fantastic. There are other good ones, but that's the one that's most recommended.

Best

Prague and Strasbourg, France. Took an old girlfriend to the former and my wife to the latter three months after we started dating right before I got out of the Army.

Worst

I'm not going to count any place I was stationed at during my Iraq deployments so I'll just say Columbus, Georgia. I went to Basic Training at Fort Benning and Columbus is one of the worst and most run down cities in the country. Pueblo West, Colorado wasn't the greatest place, either (lots of trailer trash).

Tokyo is high on my bucket list.

If there is anything more pervy than a Japanese man I don't know what it is. I wasn't even safe from getting fondled on the subway.

I loved living in Tuscon, AZ. Worst is a toss up between Clovis NM, Enid Ok and Witchita Falls TX.

I'm not a fan of LA or Sacramento. Seriously, Sacramento dies on the weekend. It was like a bad Will Smith film.

LA has been described as a great place to live, but a horrible place to visit. I'd have to agree. As a long time LA resident, I love it here, but whenever I see tourists, I always think to myself that they must be disappointed.

To be honest, I didn't spend a lot of time there. I'd like to go out and give it a second chance.
Glendale, AZ is boring as hell too. I fly out there every year for work. Phoenix is cool. A tad gritty, but there are some great record stores there.

If you base new orleans on the french quarter, well, there it is. I liked visiting my friends in faubourg-marigny (sp?), the upper garden district, and lakeview although too fucking hot in the summer like austin

Translated: They don't play the Eagles much in the bars down there.
Translated: it's hot and humid as hell. Most corrupt law enforcement in AMerica. The city is filthy and it smell like a sewer and being built below sea level it was designed to fail
