wow what? the facts are the facts. this whole love fest for noah by bulls fans is annoying.

I have no idea why lefty is wasting his time with this thread. This really isnt a debate whatsoever, Mello>>>>Noah.......Mello makes you closer to a championship.there is just no denying that. it is a simple fact.

You really don't see how someone with critical-thinking skills could look at your statement and be somewhat distraught?

he's right dewey, your not offering any substance to the argument...

It's more than just Noah<Melo

if we lost our starting C and SF and replaced them with a starting SF, we lose alot in that C position, especially in the East...

I dont need to get into detail like lefty, anyone with a brain does not turn down noah for mello, and if you are so concerned with the C position, those guys come a dime a dozen, you easily replace a noah, it is much much harder to replace mello. but go ahead and jump on the noah train as well.

again I dont need to get into detail, because it is common sense. and there really should not even be a debate on this.

REPEAT: What makes you closer to a title?

:smh:

It all depends on if Melo signs an extension with us, because if he is gone after this year, then it's a horrible trade

Sure, okay. So basically you are saying that if someone doesn't strongly agree with doing that trade then that person is stupid.

And dismiss Noah (who is the 2nd or 3rd best player who has ever played for the Bulls since the year 1998) as "a dime a dozen" an 'easily replaceable' piece.
^ludacris/half-thought out statement.

Rebounding is relatively easy to find in the NBA, as is defense. Can you replace the production of Noah with a single player? Obviously not, but this is a case where the sum of the parts could very easily equal the whole.

That's generally true, I agree. But will that be rebounding be replaced this season?
No.

Will all Noah brings to the table (not just rebs, but the combination of defense, athleticism, ball-handling, speeding, passing) be replaced in the near future, in all likelihood?
No.

Am I saying that I wouldn't do the trade when push came to shove?
No.

Do I like the idea of giving up 2 of the top 5 players that the Bulls have had over the past 13 years?
No.

Do I like the widley accepted idea that Carmelo Anthony is a much lesser player than guys like LeBron James, Kobe Bryant, Kevin Durant, and Dwyane Wade?
No.
But I agree with it.

My word! You are reprehensible! :slap:

There appears to be an abundance of evidence to prove "lefty's the idiot". Just look up.

A guy answering his own questions, most of which were never asked of him by anybody and have literally nothing to do with the topic at hand? That proves me to be the idiot...how, exactly?

You sound like Jerry Krause when he tried to rationalize his trading away of Elton Brand. If good big men like Noah are so easy to find, then why do NBA teams waste high draft picks on guys like Greg Oden and Andrew Bogut every year?

If you are looking at this year, and the Bulls goal is to win the title, then they have to beat Miami. They aren't going to outscore Miami by adding Carmelo Anthony, but they might be able to out-grind Miami by keeping Noah.

Actually read and comprehend what I said before you quote me and attempt to respond. I never said "good big men like Noah are easy to find", I said that rebounding and defense are relatively easy to pick up, there's quite a difference between the two.

And "out-grind"? WTF does that mean? How does it relate to winning?

What question of my own am I answering?

If I am answering my own question, why would it matter if the questions were never asked of me by anybody? How would it be possible for someone to have asked me my own question?? If that was the case, then would it cease being my own question, and turn into someone else's question?

See, you're an idiot.

:obama:

You said, "just look up". So I did, and the post right above yours was one by Rami, in which he was answering questions he asked of himself. You have done nothing to provide evidence of me being wrong or misguided, just arbitrarily stated as much because you are incapable of understanding exactly what it is I'm talking about. But by all means, don't let that get in the way of your buffoonery.

Ok, that still doesn't mean anything. How exactly does it pertain to winning, and by how much can we expect our likelihood of winning to go up or down based on a given increase or decrease in "grind"?
