Daley tried to change his game to fit the role they wanted him to play here. Didn't work. Both the team and Daley were apparently ready to part ways, and Stan got some cap relief in the process. All hail Stanbo!

After watching Scud lumbering up and down the ice for two games, I'd say that's pretty much all he got.
Although, so far it's meant less ice time for Runblad....so it's not entirely a bad thing.

I'd like to see an update too. I was at the game and my seats were just up from Scud when he took that puck. There was an audible crack when he got hit. Pretty awful.

I think we miss sharp and Oduya immeasurably. Panarin and AA soften the blow of Richards and Saad quite a bit, and it was time to give TT elevated responsibility and move on from Sharp, but he really had an organization effect with his predictable back checks and sharp passing, puck retention. Went to Stanley cup finals with Detroit, and Pitt if I remember, now he might have a better chance of going with Dallas than we have.
He has been a glue guy everywhere he has gone, a high caliber top end glue guy is what he is.

Hossa played with Detwat and the Pens, not Sharp. Blackhawks acquired Sharp from the Flyers in 2005/06 for Matt Ellison and 3rd round pick.
