Like Shaw as he approached 30...sure the little guy has the skill and tenacity to play top 6 minutes when asked, but management and coaching need to be more discerning about player attrition and attributes.
Shaw could have had one hell of a long and legendary career as the leagues best 4th liner.
As it was he settled for short and full of both glory and respect.
They need a value rehabilitation plan for Big Johnson to make the team and player happy by getting him somewhere else.
Toews/BJ/Reichel would be my third line barring a control year issue on Reichel(so use Kurashev)
Problem is that's our first line and none of those players have those minutes in them anymore or yet in Reichel case.

I've never heard so much bitching (on certain podcasts) about a guy (Domi) defending a superstar (Kane) after getting hit. I don't get it. It's a completely lost season. It's not like we're anywhere close to a playoff spot, and isn't that one of the reasons Domi was brought here? To defend guys? Seems like a really stupid thing to complain about. I mean yeah, the thing with Mrazek was dumb, but him sticking up for Kane is fine. Getting an instigator in a lost season in year 1 of a rebuild isn't the end of the world, ****.

Delia is a good guy to throw to the wolves and complete the tank.
Not only is he not ready, but as the best athlete on the team he has a real chance to improve with more big league minutes.
He could develop himself into a future back-up while getting us what we want.
