Off topic but where can one watch these? Are they on TV or online?

Both. Epix is so far down the dial, plus it's a premium channel. I signed up for a free trial online, but since I have Hockey Streams I can watch via their service.

To be honest, Suicide didn't even click in my head at all until brought up. My guess was some natural causes such as a stroke or as mentioned the enlarged heart.

Either way, I respect the Hawks for not going into details as really, it's nobody outside of who Clint was close withs business. It may come out and it may not. My condolences to his family.

Very sad all the way around no matter the cause.

To give some of you that may not have the insight there are several "support" folks that on a daily basis take care of these athletes. This dedication/devotion to them inherently adheres a special bond. This would most certainly include guys like Troy, Clint, but also Brian {team security}, Frankie, Pete, Brandon and a few others. So much as Toews eluded to yesterday they might as well wear the sweater as well. Although Clint and I were not super friends we've had our share of interaction over the 9 or so years he's been with the Hawks. He has/had always gone out of his way to make me happy, when possible as I'm always a grump.

Very sad all the way around. For what ever speculation I really don't care, because to me, a great guy was once again taken away far to early. All I can really think about are his wife and kids and the future ahead of them.

Ok, my wife is a nurse...Hospice Nurse to be specific. She said the wording "found unresponsive" would probably not be a suicide. It's an indication that would more than likely fall along the lines of stroke, heart attack or possibly a brain aneurysm. A drug OD could cause a stroke or heart attack but from what she read, that doesn't seem like its the case here.

Regardless, a good man is gone whose age is close to that of my son. It kinda hits home.

Very curious about this as well.

There was a segment on Rief at the end of the second episode and they closed the show with Q's pre game presser last Sunday. My guess is the next episode will have quit a bit of emotion and player reaction...

I can't imagine how messed up you have to be to kill yourself under those circumstances. Leaving behind a wife and four kids? What the **** man.

Like it was said, mental illness is a *****. That's basically the best way to describe because unless you're dealing with it, there's probably no real easy, concise way for somebody to explain it. It's like it doesn't matter that he had a wife and kids, that they would be better off without him even. And even that is probably not even describing it good enough. But that's how it makes you think.

Sometimes.... "wild speculation" turns out to be truth....

I hoped to hell my intuition was wrong, but it wasn't.

Very sad... I hope the Hawks take care of Clint's wife and kids....

RIP Clint

Was hoping it wouldn't come out this was the cause. Tough for the wife and the kids, I wish nothing but the best for that family.
