Hmm, get home late from a road game at 2 am and at some point you say **** it, gonna kill myself, 6 hours later you're found "unresponsive", shit doesn't add up. If it's true **** that coward for leaving 4 kids fatherless...

Idiots like this just don't get it.

Hope no one here never has to deal with someone they care about losing to depression/suicide.

Yup. You sure do.
There will always be dipshits like jcrab66 that litter message boards with their feces.

Keep flapping your yap **** head, I am fairly certain I am at the very least as knowledgeable as you are, if not more, about the subject and I would be perfectly happy to talk with you about it in real life, not Internet. You go ahead and keep making excuses for the coward and tossing the "M" word around like you know what the **** you're talking about.

Pretty sure you have no idea what you're talking about, little guy.

I mean most intelligent people don't have to swear every other word.

One day... one day...

I work with behavioral med docs, so I've helped them film work that they do for research and teaching for a medical university, and have lost friends/family to depression, and the last thing I would call them is cowards.
I just don't see a scenario where a friend/loved one's family would want to hear that someone they lost is a coward. That's just me.

Just ignore Jcrab... he doesn't seem all that bright with all that swearing.

I know he wants to meet me face to face to discuss. Discuss what? That we disagree?
I'd like him to walk into the Blackhawks locker room and call Clint's actions cowardly.

That's impressive, kind of like being stick boy. I spent plenty of time researching this very subject while working on my psy d at Ucla and whether you see the scenario or not is irrelevant to the fact his kids will one day know he's a coward. More so than most victims of suicide in fact, perceived or real, because of his place in life.

Actually smart guy, you brought up the "internet" as if I was saying something that I wouldn't or couldn't say in real life. I brought up in person because I wouldn't have a problem having a discussion with you or anyone else about the subject, including anyone on the blackhawks...

If you did so much research you'd understand then that mental illness is a disease and that Clint succumbed to a disease. And that it would be just as incredibly stupid to call someone who died due to this disease a "coward" as it would be to call any other person a "coward" from dying of something like cancer or heart disease or whatever you want to use. Think it's time to grow up yet and use all this intelligence you say you've gained about this topic? Mental illness, like every other disease, doesn't give a flying **** of your "place in life".

Anyone ever eeeeever use the term "coward" infront of my face while discussing mental illness and suicide I would bite their balls off and sacrifice my life to make sure that individual is harmed very badly and to make sure they never have children or another child. Be carefull what terms you use around those with mental illness because we will destroy your lives for such incensitive shit...we are mentally ill afterall.

sleep tight pricks. We have the upper hand and it's holding a hot burning prod which will be shoved up your ass. Greatest part of all? We have an excuse to fall back on while we burn your prostate remove it and eat it.

Anyone want to discuss this further?

Coward.

Kinda like calling a guy who suffered more immensely than you could imagine, deeper then any abyss known, in a dark place so devoid of light, who saw the only way to stop the suffering, the pain, the emptiness was to leave his kids and wife and his life, a coward from behind a keyboard?

You are a real tough guy. Calling out other posters to fight about it. Sorry your mommy didn't hug you enough, or your daddy hugged you too much.

Sounds more like jcrab and daddy had "night night time" in the bathroom before he was tucked in when he was little.

What a fucktard. For someone who got a "psych degree from UCLA" you would think he'd understand the psychological and brain chemical issues depression causes.

I don't know CR and I don't know what his life history is, but if he felt that his wife and 4 kids would be better off without him, obviously he was suffering with some tough shit and that's sad he didn't get the help (whether he didn't ask for it or know where to go).

Also, maybe his kids will think he's a "coward" but that means they weren't taught what the disease is or how it affects people and the difficulties it brings. Maybe his kids will become advocates for helping those with depression get the help they need, instead of letting jag offs like you just label those people cowards and let them rot.

For all of us here who understand what depression is and have even dealt with it in the past, I'd like to say go **** yourself and get off your fucking high pedestal.

Are you a pysch? I really doubt that.

Just cause you buy a book for a class doesn't make you a doctor.
