They were extremely close last year and added what they really needed, but other teams in the west also improved. The Kings look mighty dangerous. I like this team, but there are a couple holes and question marks.

Like not adding an actual #2 center once again.

Our center depth is horrendous.

Vancouver is going to have to make some changes real soon. The Salary Cap has caught up with them. They lost one of their best defenders, they still have some who are making a good chunk of change. Their future goalie prospect is ready to take the reigns but he is served as a back-up due to Luongo. They lost some role players who helped them in the playoffs, and their farm system isn't one of the best.

dup.

The pretend Sharp is a center BS again.

The dude is more of a winger.

Instead of signing Brunette, he should've signed Vinny Prospal.

How can anyone not see the lack of center depth?

Stan failed to address it. He better hope like hell there are no major injuries.

:obama:at this piss poor center depth on this team.

I know Sharp is a better winger, but I think that I would have more faith in putting him at #2 center than relying on the weak market. By letting that happen that why Brunette was signed, so he can fill in for Sharp. Does Brunette score as much as Sharp would? Probably not, but he will feed the puck to Kane & Toews more, and help with the Power-play

I mean Jake Dowell had a better FO% than both Sharp & Bolland.

Sharp has done alot of magic with Toews. Keep it that way.

No, it's really not BS; he's a fantastic center. They won a cup with him there.

Are the Hawks a bit short at the center position? Yes, they are. There's this thing called the Cap...NHL's version of parity. Name a team that isnt short at any position, I dont think you'll find one.
