For the hell of it, i picked a game with minimal interest, a weeknight game vs the Wild in February. And tried to get two tickets, best available. Only thing left was SRO.

Expect an announcement soon that tickets to all games are sold out. Sans single seats and sro to some games.

Keep checking back FYI: New tickets often become available for purchase as the event date nears.

Ticketmaster just told me all they're showing for a March 26 game (!!!) is SRO. For the Feb. 20 game against the Pens, they say NO TICKETS AT ALL.

That's standard Ticket Bastard stuff. An announcement that all games sold out only adds to the buzz.

Well I give up... looks like I won't be attending any games this year. All you STH have fun with even more rich fucking idiots than last year.

I hope for another devastating snowstorm that knocks power out and it's so cold that it's painful to go outside so I can again go to a game this year for a fucking reasonable price.

I guess All my games I will be attending will be away games, because I refuse to give a single penny to a scalper nor a broker. I went on a broker sight to see what tickets were going for the opening night.. 245!!! for 300 level ends. I hope the brokers get donkey raped when they go home tonight.

I tried to get some lesser games (my wife's folks wanted to go to a game), but they are all SRO. I wonder if the Hawks are still holding onto some premium seats, and waiting to let them go prior to some games like they have in the past.

Florida Panthers tix go on sale September 10, and Tampa has yet to announce their date for tickets. I want some decent seats for my road trip.

Those prices will settle as the game arrives. My guess is that 300 ends may go on the high side of 150 per-- but who knows?

The same happened with the SCF tix. Scalpers were trying to sell tix for around 1000, and the price was slashed in half a day before the game.

Unfortunately, I have to plan ahead. I have a buddy from Montana who wants to plan a visit here and go to a game, so I need to know far in advance that I'll have (and can afford!) the tickets. He has to make flight reservations, etc.

but my point is, why do sight like the hawks and radio stations bother fans if they know you have no chance at tickets at price. when someone like me is waiting on the phone prior to tickets going on sale and go through all the trouble to find seats and tell me at 10:01 am that no seats are ava. To me that smell like bullshit. They sell them earlier to brokers to get a kick back. It would not suprise me a bit if thats whats happening.

Whether it's a conspiracy or not-- each game has (had) about 7,000 tickets due to the STHs. Add 1,500 for SRO. That's not much. I don't know how many tix the organ-i-zation holds back for players, etc.

Sign of the times.

-.- Looks like road trips a-plenty for me this year. Talk about ridiculous. And for the way I travel, it will still be cheaper than what a broker would sell a 300 seat for, I'm sure.
