Maybe if you add another slice of toast your blood sugar will hold until 6am lolI've taken to making poached eggs on toast for dinner the last 3 nights.
Just poached eggs and then salt/pepper on toast.... good way to keep the calories down for dinner.
Odd coincidence, I've also had my blood sugar bottom out on me around 4am the last 3 nights... I wonder if there is any correlation.
I will try it a few dozen more times and see if anything changes or if I die.

Epic breakfast, as usual.
My usual omelette is about 2-3 eggs, beaten with a little milk. Pour into the pan. sprinkle some seasoning salt (Johnnys) and tabasco, and then add the meat/veggies/cheese. Cover to let the top start cooking. Then, once the top is mostly congealed, fold in half, let cook uncovered for a minute or two. Flip so the otherside gets done, then serve.

For me I was going high in the mornings because not enough carbs before bed. Pills or insulin shots?
I am type 1.... insulin dependent, so all shots.
One 24-hr insulin before bed, and then a shot each time I eat.
Somebody on CCS said you don't really need the shots, you just do it for attention.

First off, I am so sorry. I'm type 2 so I do this to myself to a big degree.
Have you looked into a monitor so that it alerts you every like five minutes to your sugar count?
