I seriously am starting to think he needs his eyes checked. His depth perception is terrible
Dude was saying "I've never been in a losing streak like this before so I asked around how to handle it".

1. He fucking finished 1-5 last year
2. It's his job to right the ship. You're the fucking first overall pick and WE KNOW WE'RE GOING TO LOSE EVERY GAME and dude is just fine with it. Don't go to the losers and ask them how they do it, be the reason why they win.

Jesus.

I watched his QB School stuff and in the second half of the year (after the ND game) his down field accuracy wasn't great.

OL and WR room were both terrible so it was hard to tell but he was excellent in 2022 and worse in 2023.

Thanks. It's just so odd to me that a guy who was hyped this much can miss the easiest throws so consistently. Even the best QBs have some bad misses.. but he's got a few a game, it seems like.

Lots of finger pointing at the GM, the coaching, the line, the receivers, etc… everyone and everything but the guy holding the ball too long who misses wide open guys. It’s time for Caleb to take on some of that heat too. I was glad to see Troy Aikman giving blind fanboys a hard dose of reality — a fair amount of Caleb’s struggles start and end with him.

there is no passing lane to see Odunze. Caleb probably was looking for a bigger play. Head hunting. Also there wasn’t a real passing lane for him to throw it to Odunze.

So Daniels' height makes him see Oduneze?

Cause he sees Oduneze.

It’s almost as if he isn’t the dynamic prospect a lot of folks here hyped him up to be

Im not ready to throw the towel in on CW. There are a lot of QB's that had rough starts and turned out very good.. Allen for the Bills is one of them. His first couple seasons the fans wanted to run him out of town on a rail

No ones throwing the towel on caleb.

He was just promissed to be generational and amazing but he's been anything but that. Guy has left like 1k yards and 10 touchdowns on the field this year with his shitty and inconsistent play. And these are layups, not even difficult throws.

If Rome Odunze was drafted to a team with a veteran QB he'd have 1k yards+

Its a huge jump from college to the NFL..I agree with your assessment, but the guy needs more time.
Guys like Mahomes or Brady come along once in a lifetime

To be fair, he looks like he was looking for the big play to the left. But either way, when he needs to pick up a first, he should know what the defense is running and where his guys will be at. I know it takes some time to learn it, but I’m hoping he ain’t doing this in his 4th year, like Fields is. We can only hope.

Sad thing is the talent level has increased with each qb. Fields is more talented than Trubisky and Williams is more talented than Fields. Same result. Maybe their helmets are too tight shutting off the blood flow to their little brains.
