No. I save it for the people who want to show off how Progressive they are to their friends which is what the term means.
Their friends on a nameless/faceless online message board? Who the hell are they trying to curry favor with here? Seems to me that a forum like this is where people are most likely to express authentic thoughts. The term "virtue signaler" has proliferated with the rise of the alt-right and intended to express displeasure with cultural advancement by disparaging the supporters rather than directly insulting the cause itself.

There's a segment here who have their own discord where they circle jerk and bitch about posters they don't like.

I honestly don't care what he wears nor do I think it has any impact on his play, but in lieu of Jack Lambert's famous "Put skirts on 'em" remark, I'd love to see his unedited reaction if/when he saw this.

It is the beard that makes ot not work. I keep saying that since I saw a cross dresser at a local brewery with an evening gown, combat boots and a neck beard.
He's potentially losing more money by wearing that dress by damaging his reputation but he's setting a new normal.
On the bright side, he can sell the hell out of Bud Light.

He's got more cajones to put that on in a GQ spread and paint his nails than many of you Sallys, knowing what the reaction might be. He doesn't give a fuck about your opinions. Kids got a hottie long term girlfriend. Fields has got a hottie girlfriend. Great, now which is gonna improve our team in the long run?

We've had a lot of fun in this thread, which is all good, but in all honesty, it was a GQ spread where he tried on A TON of stuff, and they took a bunch of pictures of the process. ONE of those things was an open piece of fabric, so I think anyone who truly cares should probably take a breath and chill.

No true cis man would ever be photographed in a way that would suggest he is anything other than a card carrying heterosexual.

To do some magazine spread for a little money that suggests differently just questions his integrity, honesty, resolve and ability to be a leader of M. E. N. !!

I wouldn’t let GQ put a dress on me for their magazine. Caleb looks like a train wreck. There’s no way he’s a leader of men. I was on board with drafting him, but now I hope we trade the pick for a haul and draft anybody else at QB.

Of all the hypocritical cities.

You won championships with Dennis Fuckin Rodman
I feel like Rodman is a bit different. For all his antics Rodman performed a high level come game time. Even for all his antics he would show up (per Jordan) and out hustle everyone at practice. Come game time, his mind was always right. He never ran and cried to anyone after a bad performance in a game. Rodman absolutely had antics but to compare Rodman to Caleb is disrespectful to Rodman. Also, Rodman was WILD, that's not the case with Caleb.

Right or wrong. If he doesn't win. Crying to his mom with his painted nails, and dress wearing is going to bring increased scrutiny. It just is. Will he be able to handle the pressure that a city like Chicago brings? We've seen tears of joy. We've seen players on sidelines crying after a huge loss. We've seen tears during the National Anthem, no one bats an eye at those. It is not common (right or wrong) for men to go into the stands and cry to their moms in the stands after a game didn't go their way. Right, or wrong. It is seen as mental weakness. I don't understand why there is almost an assault on mental toughness. Mental strength is what I want my QB to have. I want him to be able to handle adversity. I want him to be able to fight through things on his own. I want him to be able to carry the load emotionally without crying about it. At the end of the day it's another concern. Caleb isn't a generational talent. He is a great prospect. I think it is the right move for the Bears to draft him. Will he be mentally strong enough to navigate his way through the ups and downs of an NFL QB in a city like Chicago? Time will tell. That said, if Caleb is capable of winning with painted nails and crying to his mom, kudos to him for creating a new mold.
