Drinking any beer(stouts, IPAs, etc) warm will highlight the various flavors. Having it cold masks them.

still though, wanna be connoisseurs drink quality shit at near freezing temps and shit all over their reviews. coors light, bud light, natty and other piss meant for chugging is fine ice cold

I've got a pipeline. Anyone interested in a beer swap? You can label boxes car parts and I've never had an issue mailing.
You want some Jai Alai? Or any other FL beer?

Well when i lived around PA at one point in my awesome life, the ling was definitely my go to. Let it start to warm up some and bring out those flavors. Its not meant to be an ice ice cold beer IMO.

You mean like room temp? Or set it on asphalt mid july?

I will PM you. Hawk bear is down. Jail alai I can get if I go to a total wine out in VA. I'd be more interested in your local crafts. Hell, I am interested in all beer. Do you need the yuengling as well?

No, I can get Yuengling local. We have a bunch of local breweries around. I'll send you some options. I really want to get my hands on some Pliny the Elder.

Edit - here's a list of some local breweries: http://centralfloridaaletrail.com/

When I get my shipment in I'll hit you up. It might be a while until my cousin can get some out to me...you have to buy it direct and they limit the amount you can buy to six I think. But damn is it worth it.

They all look great. I guess I'd go tactical and crooked can. That's a good beer scene

If you're ever down here on vacation it's worth checking out. I'd definitely recommend downtown Sanford. In addition to the breweries (two more being added), there are some great beer bars like this:

A cidery:

And a bunch of great restaurants, including one of the best German restaurants in the country:

All within a couple blocks of walking. It's pretty great.

Not trying to rain on anyones PTE excitement, I used to be excited to try it. A friend gave me a bottle, it is absolutely a good beer and a perfect example of what a classic IPA should be. It was the leader for a long time but has been left behind. Great beer, just not all that, jmho.

It's a DIPA. There are certainly other beers that come close IMO- But for me, it's the best beer I've ever had.

With all the new breweries popping up I tend to follow the "give em a year" rule before trying them out.

It gives them time to get their bugs worked out and proves that they have a product worth trying.

Good rule! I would've given up on the brewery by me if I didn't give them time. They're brewing some awesome stuff right now. 3 years after opening and they're still kind of a hidden gem for us.

Very good. Had a cork. Also make you very drunk and wakeup with no hangover. Dangerous

I'm not much on tequila but sounds fun!

Coffee, but I am using egg nog instead of half & half in it. It is glorious. If they sold egg nog year round I would probably be twenty pounds heavier just from my morning coffee.

Finally picked up Kirkland french vodka. 1.75 for 20 bux. Essentially halve price grey goose.

Perfected homemade Mary mix. @ me for recipe

I prefer the other Kirkland vodka. Less expensive and better tasting. Also the bottle is not obnoxiously tall.
