I am a grown man who don't think like a damn child like you do. I don't believe you are 25 years old, let alone watching the league for that long. I am an objective thinker, a realist, I have given the Bulls and Rose props many times. I don't have to kiss ANYBODY'S ass to admit greatness or superiority. It is what it is. If you grow up a bit, maybe you can have a more mature approach to the game...
Praising lebron is growing up? GTFOH

but you take the bulls seriously? and the celtics seriously? do they teach logic in dubuque? all those teams had a serious change to their line ups.

They must not teach you correct grammar where you live.

The core group of guys is still the same in Boston. Nothing's changed there. They may have lost Perkins, but Garnett is still one of the best PF in the NBA and can play C well.

The Miami Heat haven't played a playoff game together yet as constructed.

The Chicago Bulls haven't played a playoff game yet as constructed.

That's why I said the Bulls have to win their playoff series' first, as well as Miami, though right now Miami has the tougher road going through New York or Philadelphia.

I wouldnt compare Chicago and Miamis core in terms of playing together in the playoffs. 3 of Chicago's 4 best players have been together for 3 years and have played 12 playoff games together. Then the guys theyve added like Boozer, Korver and Brewer have played a bunch of playoff games together. I think they need to prove that they can win a hard playoff series against the Celtics because i fully expect them to beat any other team in the East. I think they could have trouble with Orlando though.

I think that the title of the topic is naive to imply that either BOS or MIA could possibly be easy outs. But I certainly think that the tougher out is definitely BOS.

That is my point...when did it become vogue to think we would just run over Miami? They may not be the tougher out to some, though I would MUCH rather face Boston at this point...but Miami is suddenly a walk in the park?

Miami's definitely not a walk in the park but i feel confident in the Bulls ability to beat them in a 7 game series.

I'm not sure how the Celtics are an easier out than Miami. Especially considering Miami Heat, as constructed, hasn't played a playoff game together yet.

The Celtics slowed down last year at this time, and struck Cleveland and Orlando by surprise in the playoffs, and would have beaten the Lakers if Perkins didn't get injured.

I just don't see how Boston's an easier out than Miami.

Boston hadn't played together when they won in 2008...talent wins in this league. That is how it works.

I still don't understand why you'd want to face Boston over Miami.

Because Miami is a much better team?

Miami has lost some close games to good teams, Boston is struggling to even beat bad teams. And it's not because they're taking it easy and resting for the playoffs, their defensive effort is still there, they just can't score.

The way Boston is playing right now I'd rate the Bulls a better chance of sweeping them than losing to them.

This is exactly what happened to the Celtics last year after the All-Star break. They were barely a .500 team after a strong start.

Everybody wrote them off and they nearly won another title.

Boston did struggle last year before the playoffs. No team will be an easy out, but I don't see how Miami is the competition now, considering the Bulls play Boston in April once more.

Yeah i still cant say Miami is scarier than boston. I know i sound like a broken record but the depth, size and toughness of Boston will be a major factor in the playoffs.

Yeah if Shaq doesnt get better, they will be hurting. I dont think he'll give them many minutes but i think any minutes will be beneficial.

No it's not exactly what happened last year. Last year their defense fell away because they were taking it easy. This year their defense is still there. They're a team that's trying to win games they just can't because they can't score enough points.

A lot of that is Rondo having a bad few weeks. He has to be the beast he has been in the past for them to have a chance. That is why I have said in the past he is the engine to that team. That offense revolves around him.

Miami > Celtics. Careful what you wish for.

I'm still confident in a Bulls/Miami matchup in the playoffs but I would rather it be Bulls/Celtics. The Heat are going to be for real in the playoffs.
