LOL WOAH SLOW DOWN A MINUTE.

Coming back down from 3-0 to win 4-3 in a 7 game series, then playing a team who rested an extra couple of days by beating them 6-0 then 3-0 definitely doesn't make our team just as gassed.
:lmao:

how many games did you play first round?

It will be that easy, it will be a cakewalk you dipshit philly cheeseteak eating fuckface.

I'm all for fans of other teams coming over and acting classy but Dismagic's bravado is getting on my nerves. This is Chi City Sports, a place for Chicago fans to talk about their teams.

This guy needs to either some respect or he needs to get bounced. We don't need him around here.

Get some respect brah. GET SOME RESPECT!

Im not making any predictions about the Hawks, im also not drinking the Kool-aid and thinking this team is the greatest team on ice.

I prefer to root for my team (which if you couldnt tell by the sig and avatar, is the Blackhawks), but still be able to use logical thought behind my arguments.

If the Hawks make it past the Sharks, ill treat the Stanley Cup Finals exactly like I treated the past 3 rounds, and that is taking it game by game.

It seems 80% of this board thinks the Hawks are going to win this series and the next series via sweep, but most of you fail to realize the Hawks are not the most consistent team in the world, and have proved all year they will drop their guard and loss a few games before they play back up to par. Its been a continuous theme thought the whole playoffs.

How has that been a continuous theme? They haven't even had to go 7 yet.

If you don't support the Blackhawks to the fullest extent, you support the communist regime.

It's funny because you're arguing with two people, one who's second favorite team is the Hawks, the other who's a die-hard Hawks fan. I'm laughing my ass off at how demented some fans can be.

What's up everybody?

I'm a Philadelphia sports fan, but I'm good friends with Cutsizzle. Even though I love Philadelphia sports, I cheer for Chicago since they're pretty much the hometown team. I go to Indiana University and it seems like 80% of the students here are from Chicago, so there are nice celebrations when there are playoff wins and such. The two Chicago teams I do follow are the Hawks and the Bulls. Don't care much about the Sox or Cubs, and the Bears just annoy me with mediocrity.

Nice to meet you all.

Have you not watched the games? How many times has this team had to fight back late and games just to win? They shutout the Preds in back to back games, then come out and damn near lose the next game, only to have Kane and Hossa bail them out?

And then in the Vancouver series they win back to back games, with a chance to end it on home ice and come out and lay another egg?

Why does it matter how they win? They won! The Vancouver series was never in doubt. And once again I will say that the Preds played out of their minds and out of their physical bodies to push that to 6. Their goalie played about as well as I've ever seen a goalie play.

And you're not mentioning the current series in your argument. Is that because the Hawks are owning them?

This is how I see it:

The Hawks are great on the road, but they've played in Nashville, Vancouver and San Jose. None of those are huge markets with crazy sports fans. Our home crowd is ridiculous, the sea of orange and boards that seem to be wobbling at all times. The Hawks are extremely inconsistent at home. If all we have to do is win 2/3 of our home games in our crazy crowd that the Hawks haven't experienced yet and 2/4 of our away games against a team who is inconsistent at home, I really don't have a problem seeing us winning.

I'm debating with niemi no no because he's not as confident as I am which is fine. But I have reason to be confident.

That terrible Boston team only collapsed because of injuries, a team can only hold on for so long before falling to shit..

I like how you say the #7 team the Hawks beat is excellent but are quick to discredit the Flyers who are also a #7 team. Btw, in the Regular season the Flyers scored more goals and allowed the same as the Preds...sooo if the Preds played us to brink, what do you think the Flyers are going to do?

The Flyers will be arguably the biggest and toughest team the Hawks have faced personnel wise, and you expect them to waltz in there and just sweep?

Btw, I wouldnt call a 2-1 win and a 4-2 win dismantling the Sharks, why dont you hold off on the Stanley Cup Parade until this team proves it can actually play consistently at home?

Dismagic dude, I'm begging you. Please read before you post.

No its because this series hasnt even hit UC Ice yet, you know the same place where the Blackhawks are 3-3 in this posteason.

LOL! That's an interesting spin. How do you propose to win 2/3 of your home games when the Hawks have won 7 straight, including 2 against a team that beat Detroit in 5? :lmao:

Okay so they're .500 at home. They win 1/2 and then go back to SJ and win in 5.

What's your point?

You think Philly is as good as SJ? So you're predicting Hawks in 5 over Philly?

I predicted the Hawks would beat SJ in 6...If I had to take a guess I would say if the Hawks played Philly they would win in 5 or 6

So you're arguing with me because I think Hawks sweep them and you think Hawks possibly win in 5? Were you on a debate team? LOL.
