im talking about the Wizards series last year they scored like 69 points

if you look at the boxscore you might think it was a gritty defensive game but all i remember is it being insufferable and guys looking like they were ready to go home...i think it was a case of both teams not giving a shit
I watched that game, and the 4th quarter they kinda looked like they were ready to go home, but at the same time they still played good defense. They just simply had zero offense.

The game pretty much resembled anything the team showed against Philly, Miami, and then that whole Washington series pretty much.. They had no offense to win the game.

While Game 6 this year was more so just quit on both sides of the ball. You knew they could score points if they wanted to, while on the other teams you knew they struggled to score.

They did not let him "do his thing" ever. They always had a problem with him. Reinsdorf saved Thibs job the year Rose went down with his ACL tear. GarPax reached out to Hoiberg again that offseason, as they didn't want to sign Thibs to an extension. Thibs always was Reinsdorf's man. He was never GarPax's. Reinsdorf soured on him more after Thibs left the extension on his desk for 4 months in silent protest. That burned bridges with JR that never mended which ushered his way out the door.

sure they did he was free to run the team how he seen fit for the first 4 years he was here

they didn't impose a minutes limit until this year...they may have not liked him but they didn't impede with things like minutes limits or trainers that held more weight than he did for the first 4 years...i'd call that letting him do his thing

Thibs always coached with the hand he was dealt and I never faulted him for that. And the year they wanted to "tank" only served to improve Butler & Noah won DPOY. You're acting like he ruined the team on purpose just to stick it to management. Thibs has always wanted one thing and one thing only: To win. To think that he or the players on the team would have given up just cuz Rose was out & Deng was traded was idiotic thinking on their part. It was never going to happen that way.

im not defending either side in this matter i think both are at fault

im just telling my theory on where i think the breaking point was for the whole situation not only for the front office but for the players aswell....thibs fate was sealed last year

i agree to think thibs would tank was stupid...but how he treated Noah was reckless he knew Noah was hurting although i'll admit some blame falls on the medical staff aswell they should have intervened

With Hoiberg now hired, it will be interesting to see who he keeps and brings in as assistant coaches. I really hope he keeps Adrian Griffin and Ed Pinckney, but that is not guaranteed. I wouldn't be surprised if he brings over one of his ISU assistants.

Did you expect him to say a lot of bad things?

JMO, but I don't see how you can go from getting into a fist-fight with one coach over minutes played, see what happens with minutes in two seasons, and then wait another two seasons before you put in a minutes restriction. I think this stuff was in there after season 1.

thats impossible because thibs played guys how ever long he wanted

sure the front office maybe had a issue with it from season 1 but they didn't enforce anything until this year

45-37 next year. Gibson and Noah traded. 1st round exit. No pro experience. He will inherit a unbalanced team but John fucking Paxson can't see the forest from the trees.

Why don't you halt the pessimistic predictions for a little big closer to the season? What pro experience does Steve Kerr have?

Good. Was not effective at all last season. I hope they release him and go after younger talent who can actually produce.
Well that have a team option on Moore, so I figured they'd go with him.

I think they'll end up buying out Hinrich.
