Chipper Jones is 5-for-5 with some great defense tonight.

May he live forever.

Win streak stops at 4 in a row. Wonder if they'll ever get 5 in a row. Even crap teams can have unexpected win streaks here and there.

I didn't expect much of a different outcome with Volstad on the hill.

Seventeen years ago, it was Chipper Jones. And he had nothing on Anthony Rizzo. ‘‘I mean, I took my lumps; there’s no doubt about it,’’ said Jones, the Atlanta Braves’ eight-time All-Star, recalling the start of that rookie year he spent as Bobby Cox’s No. 3 hitter. ‘‘There’s a learning curve there.’’
This is why I have no problem with Rizzo hitting 3rd this year.

Well, there's one way to score a run.

Castro's been more patient lately it appears. Probably in-part due to Rizzo coming up...I do think Rizzo missed a sign there...but I guess that's gonna happen w/ young guys.

Nice job by Maholm/Castro getting out of the bottom w/out giving up a run.

Was that a steal home by Castro? I could have swore that those were steal home on plays like those. I have seen those happen before and they were called stealing home.

I saw the replay, Castro completely stole home. He took off when the ball left the catcher's hand.

He's actually been playing like an all-star the past 2 games. Maybe that's what he needed, the word that he is an all-star.

Also, Uggla is struggling and is an OK 2nd baseman and he's starting.

Starlin Castro loves setting up double plays.
