By any chance does this mean anything to you CO? or are you not believing he said the following: "Cubs GM John Hendry told Gordon Wittenmyer of The Chicago Sun Times that he's not worried about making a splash this offseason, but that it's "really imperative that we have two or three really good moves."

Adrian Gonzalez still remains a possibility, as he is quite cheap for a 1B of his stature this season, despite the prospects that'd have to be traded. Kerry Wood is still a good possibility. And Jake Westbrook or Jon Garland remain possibilities.

I would love for us to trade for James Shields. He's coming off a down year, so we could buy uber low and he would really solidify the rotation.

Way to use one stat to judge a player. Those 30 HRs couldn't have anything to do with a .354 BABIP, could it?

While those HRs may not be nice, do you know what is? I'll tell ya. His career 3.7 K/BB, his career 3.85 xFIP, and his career 4.03 FIP... all in the AL East.

Being a mod has nothing to do with anything.

Isn't it "obvious" no one ever agrees with you on most things?

Being a mod has a lot to do with it, actually. He is an image of the site. I'm not.

So what? So the **** what? That has nothing to do with anything.
