We don't have enough cap to get a stud WR and get all other positions filled. We signed a DT, because you only start one DT. But at receiver you need at least 3-4. This is pretty basic math, logic and algebra.
LOL. This is great. You claiming we don’t have enough cap space for a stud WR then citing basic math as your reasoning for your second point. I love it

So you think the Bears can afford 25 million a year maybe more for Tyreek Hill?

All while losing a 1st rounder (which they don't even have) and maybe a 2nd?

Not that I’m disagreeing with you but the Chiefs are in win now mode. I think losing Hill and filling his shoes with a rookie decreases their ability to compete quite significantly. Beside Mahomes, the offense moves through him. JuJu and a rookie likely won’t make up for losing Hill.
Obviously, losing Hill isn't ideal. But the idea that they're in "win now" mode is not accurate. Mahomes is locked up for a decade, and the defense is pretty young, especially the linebacker corp and secondary. They've got plenty of time. They've got to manage the cap and put the best team out there they can, and overpaying a guy nearing 30 doesn't accomplish that. I don't want to lose him, but it's not the devastating blow some might make it out to be. No need to be in cap hell like the rest of the AFC West is about to be for the rest of the 2020s.

Yes 10 million for one position. Vs 20 million at a position that has 3 starters. Algebra shows that when 1 of 3 slots gets higher, the others must go lower.

By win mode I mean they currently have the roster to win it all. As we have seen, rosters can change quickly in the NFL. So just because Mahomes is locked up for 10 years, doesn’t mean their roster remains competitive. I wouldn’t be surprised to see theirs offense dip this year.

"Win now" typically means a 2-3 year window when all the pieces are clicking. They've been to 4 straight AFC title games under Mahomes (and if it weren't for a coin flip against Brady in '18 and an implosion against the Bengals this past year, it would be 4 consecutive Super Bowls as well), so maybe their "win now" window is larger than you're typically thinking. Again, I'm not saying it won't hurt them to lose Hill, but I just think their window is much larger than you're thinking.

Especially when you see the WR market going nuts. Avoid it at all cost. I'm just happy knowing Adams is no longer on the Packers and Hill will no longer be on the Chiefs.
Those are kind of contradictory statements, Why are you happy Adams isn't with the Packers? Wouldn't you rather they "waste" their cap space on him?

Yeah, I don't think you'll have to worry about the bears being interested lol.

Also, not sure what you mean he's "only had Mahommes," he was a stud before Mahommes became a starter.

I don't think there's a high risk of him not continuing to be elite honestly, but at the price he's commanding, really not worth it unless a team feels he's the missing piece...which is why it's funny the Jets are in on it.
As you get older, chances of injury grow.

OBJ was ranked higher than Hill a few years ago, but then injury happened and now he is available as a free agent, a shadow of his former self and he is currently 29.

But we don’t know that. We don’t know what their roster is going to look like 3 years down the road. I take win mode by a year to year basis because rosters overturn regularly.

Have you people negotiated anything in your life?

Just because the Chiefs want two firsts doesn't mean the Bears have to offer that. Poles can pick up the phone and see if they are willing to negotiate and/or see if they have an interest in any of our players.

Exactly. And having a great relationship with their front office, you think he may have been able to get something done

I wonder how many WRs will be draft in the first two rounds this year, will probably be a record.
