I don't want to speak it into existence, but since Dennis Allen has coached with Dan Campbell, why is Detroit not being talked about as a possible destination for him? Maybe since Johnson has reached out beforehand to join his staff. Just hurry and get 'er done!

They are, the detroit media/message boards all want him as a top candidate.

Missing how many starters and do you think 5 TOs helps an injured D?

That defense was cheeks for weeks, sam darnold just sucked assholes in week 18. If he didnt miss open WR's all game they likely give up 30 points there too

Once Hutch and mcniel went down them being a good defense went out the window

Isn't it annoying when people go on and on (and on and on) and won't let things go?

No I find it quite amusing that people cry about the vortex only to vortex themselves. The more the merrier.

Yup.

Also feels like Glenn is getting the leftovers because BJ got there first 🤣
Not really. Anyone who wants to call plays on offense likely choses Glenn over Johnson if not promoted to OC in Detroit.

By contrast Johnson has the inside track on anyone not deemed ready to call plays because he can offer them OC without needing them to call plays.

It wasnt when Hutch and McNeil were there. That is the problem with taking a RB and LB who cant cover in the 1st. It leaves the D exposed. They had to blitz a to create pressure.

I'm sorry I implied the D had a poor game. Did you watch and think they played well? Or just defending their DC for some reason?

We all know Detroit has some injuries, some significant.

I accounted for one TD already in saying the D allowed 38. Washington , of which 7 was on one interception. Detroit's D allowed 38. The 5th turnover was in the final seconds. Washington didn't score off that. Detroit's D literally walked off the field once in 60 minutes having stopped Washington (and a rookie QB). I'm not going to argue this with you.

That kinda sucks, would have been neat to have a a whole lot more hysterical triggered posts to reference later on if Gayleb prospers next season. But I'm guessing he's banned for posts nobody can see any longer with N words and other slurs. He's obviously going through some things.
It’s one thing to disagree with a hire or signing. But it’s another thing to drag irrelevant racist beliefs into the forum and then he has the nerve to accuse Remy of being some sort of failure just because of the color of his skin.

Correct. A defense that loses an elite DE before the halfway point and then loses a very good DT shortly thereafter will suck ass. The back 7, except for the safeties is awful, but having a line that can get pressure will hide their deficiencies. Once those 2 why down, they had little room for error. And Goff was that error.

I agree they had a poor game. That is expected given the injuries. Pretty simple really.

What you cant have when you are built to win on offense is for that offense to turn it over 5 times.

No he is actually right. The weird obsession with bringing DEI up and always talking shit about anyone black on the staff is rampant on this site.
He's calling a spade a spade. I've been on this site for years and have noticed these patterns. Do better.
Watch your step there, pal.

Campbell is so awful. I was really worried about Detroit in that draft but taking Campbell was a relief.

I guess the same could be said on the other side of the ball. Assuming Glenn is calling plays on defense with the Jets that is.
