Ben said specifically that he wanted someone to do all the ground work and scouting through the week so it is set up for him to tweek and go through to call plays on the weekend.

He wanted someone that is systematic and organized...He must have found him. Ben still has all the final say on everything offense
That’s what I said on another post. Plus that his OC will have to work long nights.

I wonder if Ben spoke to Sean and asked if that’s what he kind of did for him. Which would be beneficial for Ben since that’s what he’s looking for, and Doyle confirmed it.

Doyle and Allen worked together for 4 years so Johnson probably picked Allen's brain about Doyle

Holy…… I’m sorry dude. At least yall getting fields

It's funny because I've dealt with this a few times in recent memory.

When the Raiders traded Mack to the Bears, I was pumped for the Bears, but pissed for the Raiders.

When the Bears fired Luke Getsy, I was happy... and then the Raiders hired him.

Seeing reports of BJ taking either the Raiders job or the Bears job was making my head spin.

And then there being rumors about Fields potentially being a landing spot for Fields over the last two off-seasons....

It's a crazy time haha

This makes absolute sense, unlike those who just assumed he would be an OC somewhere. Dude skipped some steps and was put in a bad situation. Wasn't able to make the players rise above. Now he's back to where he belongs, as a position coach with some upside.
Not to be too harsh or dramatic, I hope he dies a horrible death from syphilis.
