I mean, I don't think people getting a little miffed is out of line.
you have no idea what good teams do, STFU. Good teams aren’t looking for HCs often lol.

And how many times do we hear comments in this board that the Bears don’t bring in all the QBs in the draft and do their due diligence?

Sorry we have already submitted you for WR coach.

I will take it, but must tell up front of a potential conflict of interest. I was gifted a very rare autographed Tyler Scott rookie card by a friend for Christmas. My main objective as WR coach will be that he becomes the #1 receiver and gets minimally 50% of the targets. Thanks.

I’m trying my best just to remain calm. It’s a chance to information gather I think is why they do this. I’ll reserve judgement until I see who is actually hired and why.

That's why I kind of laugh when everyone pokes fun at me for some of the observations I make on the team when they want to be doomers.

Coaches don't look at things the same way fans do.

I can see why Ben wants the team.

The only advice I can give is when you're consuming sports content and you are listening to someone who has played before or has coached before or has been a GM before, try to listen and pay attention to how they see the game and what they look for.

After years of doing that, and also prioritizing those who were better at their job and those opinions over those who may have not been so good, You start to get a better feel of what they're looking at.

Not like it makes you equipped to go out and coach a game or be a scout, but it does come in handy with understanding what's going on during a play and what a coach might be looking at or what a GM might be looking at.

I don't think Ben Johnson is as down on Caleb Williams as some meatball fans are. I think he's looking at things and feels like all he has to do is get the offensive line right and install his system and the Bears are off to the races.
What's their latest thoughts on run pro?

Outside of BJ I think most fans will be unhappy with whoever they get. Even Vrabel would make a lot unhappy and I think he’s top 2 or 3 candidates for this year
We could hire anyone and people will be unhappy. There's quite literally no one that wouldn't result in some portion of people complaining about it.

I mean, a person would have to be a lazy idiot NOT to pick up on what good teams do.

All one has to do is see which teams have been good for a while, and when a spot opens up for them, what they do.

Stop pretending like its some cloak and dagger shit mere mortals could never fathom when at most its just a 20 minute search on google checking which teams have been good for long periods of time, and then researching what they've done when there was an opening.

Don't get mad at me for you being lazy.

Yup.

And you will always have fans as well who aren't really Bears fans - they are fans of bitching about the Bears...

You haven’t done any of that.

I would not be pissed over Vrabel I would just prefer an offensive minded HC. Plus I don’t think he is the best fit for the offense to improve.

As CCS #1 Tyler Scott fan I approve

I like this one ALOT.

This is my second pick after BJ.
I’d have to agree. I could really get behind hiring Monken. Has done a lot for Jackson and that offense. He took that offense to the next level.
