My favorite teams
I wish they would’ve at least interviewed Harbaugh last year just to know what actual head coaches responses should be…

We should just start drinking game for every time somebody brings up this Harbaugh nonsense. Except we’d all die of alcohol poisoning.I wish they would’ve at least interviewed Harbaugh last year just to know what actual head coaches responses should be…
At least we wouldn’t be around to see the 2025 shit showWe should just start drinking game for every time somebody brings up this Harbaugh nonsense. Except we’d all die of alcohol poisoning.
Forgive me if I'm wrong, but isn't this the guy saying Poles is gone?
As a UGA homer, I am fully behind at least interviewing him. He is one helluva play caller. Look how UGA has looked since he left and the success BAL has had on offense since he was hired.
Wow. They passed up on Bowles and Quinn for Flus. Damn.I think you are confusing the initial search with the finalists.
Edit: And I just found proof that they "cast a wide net" in 2022:
Updated list of head coach, GM candidates Bears have interviewed
The Chicago Bears are in the middle of their search for a new general manager and head coach after firing Ryan Pace and Matt Nagy last week. The Bears have cast a wide net of candidates for their vacant GM and head coach jobs, and the first round of interviews have…bearswire.usatoday.com
I guess YOU are one of the fans just pretty much throwing anything out there?
I stand by what I said about the Bears "process". Same as it ever was.
I’ve always been a fan of his. Don’t know if he would make a good HC, but those concerns are the same with Johnson. I know he’s been calling plays a lot longer than Johnson.Todd Monken is from Wheaton IL! This guy is a Bears fan, this would be coming home for him.
He's never been a co-ordinator yet. That's a big leap.I'm surprised they haven't put in for Josh McCown yet.

I still don't see how Kafka makes more sense than this guy. He's been with the Bears before so he knows the city and media. Is an Tomlin and Arians disciple, and cut his teeth coaching the o-line.
I mentioned in another thread what does the latest “genius” Ben Johnson have on Monken? As a UGA homer, I am fully behind at least interviewing him. He is one helluva play caller. Look how UGA has looked since he left and the success BAL has had on offense since he was hired.
Other than Kafka having a SB ring with the Chiefs, is he really that much more qualified than Pep Hamilton? Pep at least has 5 games of HC experience in the XFL to go along with his long college and pro career. When you look at Kevin Warrens resume it makes sense.
When kevin was with the vikings, kafka was a player(practice squad, but still).
As others have mentioned, it may also be to try to retain him as an OC/QB coach for whoever they hire similar to thomas brown last year.
Doesn't Monken have college HC experience also? My preference is someone with NFL HC experience or a long time NFL co-oordinator who at least has been a college, CFL, or other pro league HC experience.I mentioned in another thread what does the latest “genius” Ben Johnson have on Monken?
His work in Baltimore has been pretty damn good.
Playing devil’s advocate here, most coordinators could have a high powered offense with Lamar.I mentioned in another thread what does the latest “genius” Ben Johnson have on Monken?

We just reached the Pep Hamilton phase of the off-season, in case anyone has that on their bingo card.Other than Kafka having a SB ring with the Chiefs, is he really that much more qualified than Pep Hamilton?
