Yeah, let me know when Caleb throws 5 TDs and puts up 36 against the Eagles. This board is incredible in its bashing of everyone "not Caleb".

Jayden had more TDs against the Eagles than Caleb and the Bears had 1st half yards against SF....who just got walloped by Miami.
No one downplays the achievements of other teams players while hyping up their own like Bears fans.
Man, if only Caleb has Demario Douglas and Javon Baker and the NE OL, he totally would have scored more than 3 points vs the vaunted Patriots defense.

Caleb missed another wide open bomb today by 10 yards. Jayden does not miss those. Caleb has shown he is flat out terrible at hitting the deep ball. Off the charts bad at deep ball accuracy.

Caleb misses too many wide open receivers - at all levels. Hot and cold like that. His completion % is much worse the Jayden’s

Caleb misses too many sure fire touchdowns. Just does not see the open receiver or simply made a horrible pass/missed the guy who was running free untouched after beating his man. Jayden converts those

Jayden deals with pressure much better than Caleb. For instance today, the Eagles were in the backfield all day harassing Jayden - right in his grill. Yet he kept his poise and still picked them apart. Caleb would have collapsed/folded.

Jayden’s poise is off the charts good. Lights out good! Caleb is not even in his stratosphere when it comes to poise.

And here is the kicker — Jayden is doing this while throwing to a bunch of nobodies save 1 - TMac. Caleb has an arsenal of many proven weapons to throw to

Jayden is by far the better player. Moreover he has proven himself to be “a winner” … elevating his offense and the entire team around him. Caleb? Not so much.

I think Caleb is super tough, but IMO a big difference between Jayden and Caleb is that Jayden is willing to stand in the pocket and take a hit right when he's throwing. A lot of his big plays come from him holding the ball until the last second, taking a hit, and completing a downfield throw. When Caleb sees pressure, his first instinct is to run away.

Washington has a better run game. That helps drives going. What did the Bears runni ghame do today? 30 yards? How can the Bears elongate drives with no running game?

Caleb Williams is having a fair rookie season, misses some open passes, doesn't see what defenses are giving him a lot of the time, and is genuinely part of why this team is losing. He is also showing that he has a lot of fight in him, can make some pretty throws, and has put the team in position to win a few times despite falling short. I think he's passing up opportunities he is seeing, else he wouldn't have this no-interception streak. Story isn't out on him, he's getting good reps out there.

Daniels is having a phenomenal rookie season, and every time it is at the expense of Dallas, I laugh like a gleeful child. Now that that team is not owned by Snyder, I have a team in that division to root for. All they need in Washington is a real team name, cuz commanders does not cut it.

DJ Moore, tho

No, I get it. Pretty much every team has a better run game than the Bears. Teams are probably more willing to stack the box knowing that Caleb/the Bears aren't going to challenge teams downfield. Not sure how inter-related things are.

Typically, the elite QB’s are at the top in EPA. Those that aren’t elite are not at the top in EPA. Not a difficult correlation to make here.

This is the worst Caleb is going to be, and he might set the nfl record for no interceptions. Yet half our fans still want Justin Fields and his 2600 yard passing seasons.

I think this is peak Daniels. He came into the nfl with more experience, he is older, the Kingsbury offense gets worse over time. Because of this I don’t see him being better next year, at best he stays the same.

Caleb isn’t as bad as his record indicates. JD however is a huge reason their team is in the playoffs.
Along with a good coaching staff and roster. JD is only a piece of the reason the Commanders are going to the playoffs.

The problem is that Caleb had too much up and down, whereas Jayden has been more consistent in what he gives you. Caleb has had 6 games where he threw for less than 175 yards. Jayden has had 0 such games other than the one he got injured in. Caled is 62% accurate, Jayden is 69%. Jayden has 700+ yards on the ground, Caleb has 400 yards. Also, Washington has a vastly inferior receiving corp than Chicago.

Still though, I think Caleb has a higher ceiling and a better chance at being a top QB longterm. Caleb has x4 games with over 300 passing yards, Jayden only has 1.
Caleb has play the 16th ranked Strength of Schedule, Jayden has played 32nd, dead last, strength of schedule. And Caleb had to overcome coaching and coordinator changes midseason and Jayden has not. So it's hard to guage everything only 1 year in.

Peak Daniels is pretty good, no? He just threw5 TDs against the #1 defense. This message board kind of sucks.

i did not say he isn’t pretty good. I just don’t see him getting better than this. His deep ball is amazing to watch, so accurate.

That said did you watch this game? He was tossing it to wide open receivers so many blown coverages it was shocking. They had 5 turnovers including one that should have ended the game but Smith dropped an easy completion that gave them the ball back.

I did watch this game. I agree, Jayden isn't 'robot like' in his throws like a prime Aaron Rodgers....that said, he almost always puts points on the board. I think he might improve as the team improves the talent around him. He's really accomplishing a lot with a little, IMO.

Watch the one game Daniels was hurt in. Mariotta came in and looked amazing. This system they run is working really well that has something to do with it. The easiest schedule in the league helps, and yes Daniels does not miss on deep balls which is impressive to watch.

After every QBs first year coaches go to work on their tape. They figure out every throw they can’t make and then the next year, defenses force them to make those throws to get them out of the new defensive looks they are in.

The best of the best don’t look worse and get better.

Many QBs struggle. Some for years.

Next year id expect DCs to dare Williams to beat them with accurate passes deep. He won’t
