Wins start and end with the QB, that's why the team moved on from Fields.

It is great for the sport as a whole when someone like Daniels takes the league by storm. I cannot expect that he'd be leading this team to the playoffs - but he is leading a good team to great results!
I agree and which is why the Commanders going to the playoffs is more than just Daniels. Is he a big reason, of course but I’d argue everything else surrounding him is even a bigger reason.

It's honestly ridiculous the pearl clutching on both sides. Daniels is clearly having the best rookie season and had a statement game today against a great defense.

Nix is also performing better than most expected and I think you can attribute a lot of that to Payton adjusting his system to help nix out after the first couple weeks.

Caleb is having a pretty good season as well. He has things to clean up most certainly. He's erratic with his accuracy and his deep ball has been basically nonexistent but the deep ball did exist in college, so hopefully with a few tweaks we can see some success there as well.

Maye has also been good for a qb playing on a team deprived of any talent.

I'm not sure why everyone needs to declare busts/bests before the rookie seasons are even over. All these guys careers will take different trajectories, but it appears to be a really good qb class despite everyone being so insistent on finding a bust.
This! End thread.

DJ Moore, tho

No, I get it. Pretty much every team has a better run game than the Bears. Teams are probably more willing to stack the box knowing that Caleb/the Bears aren't going to challenge teams downfield. Not sure how inter-related things are.
Or the Oline is that bad. Not able to control LOS. Plus play calling is not consistent. Roll outs worked today. Play action worked today, but 2 TOs ruined the game.

John Elway struggled and Marino excelled in the beginning of their careers. It took Elway 2 years until he became superman. The drive made Elway into a superstar. Also who has 2 SBs compared to zero even though both are HOF QBs. Can't decide a career by 1 year.

This might be one of the best QB drafts of all time!!
There was a lot of people arguing against this idea last year when others were talking about it being a great class and saying you can't just wait a year and hope to get your guy again the next year (the 2025 draft)

Anyone with half a brain knows to look beyond stats or wins and losses, and deep dive into tape.

All you have to do is take a glance and everyone who digs into tape is going "wtf are they doing?" when it comes to Waldron's scheme. The Bears need a true offensive guru to come to Chicago and right the offensive ship.

Bears interviewed 9 OC candidates, and picked the worst of the 9. Lol, so Bears!

Yes they do. Only chance Williams has to succeed within this organization. Do the best they can to find that offensive guru, put a lot of their resources into the OL and attempt to move forward.

The Bears will still be a mediocre team at best next year. Fix the offense and take care of the defense second (to an extent).

Caleb will be fine. CCS just likes to ****.
Can you blame CCS though? He has shown on numerous occasions that he can be fine and be that franchise QB. Really never saw those moments with Trubisky and Fields. Get Williams a legit OC and the sky is the limit.

Was it ever proven that Daniel Kelly was even a scout for the Jets? Isn't he the guy that was high on Spencer Rattler?
It’s more Star Wars fan fiction from the resident conspiracy theorist who doesn’t watch the games but flip flops based on what she reads on twitter

Caleb missed another wide open bomb today by 10 yards. Jayden does not miss those. Caleb has shown he is flat out terrible at hitting the deep ball. Off the charts bad at deep ball accuracy.

Caleb misses too many wide open receivers - at all levels. Hot and cold like that. His completion % is much worse the Jayden’s

Caleb misses too many sure fire touchdowns. Just does not see the open receiver or simply made a horrible pass/missed the guy who was running free untouched after beating his man. Jayden converts those

Jayden deals with pressure much better than Caleb. For instance today, the Eagles were in the backfield all day harassing Jayden - right in his grill. Yet he kept his poise and still picked them apart. Caleb would have collapsed/folded.

Jayden’s poise is off the charts good. Lights out good! Caleb is not even in his stratosphere when it comes to poise.

And here is the kicker — Jayden is doing this while throwing to a bunch of nobodies save 1 - TMac. Caleb has an arsenal of many proven weapons to throw to

Jayden is by far the better player. Moreover he has proven himself to be “a winner” … elevating his offense and the entire team around him. Caleb? Not so much.
Yeah but look at their stats
