Agree on Leddy. I like him alot on the power play too but Q "the magnificent line generator" must not agree.

Hes one of the only players on the team that can get the puck in the zone on the PP... hell even 5-on-5 sometimes. The kid is still extremely young, I can't imagine how good hes going to be a couple years from now as his game rounds out. The potential is definitely there, and it could be scary good.

He's better than Niemi, just sayin. I had a little "kerfuffle" with someone the other day about Crawford... he said that he's the "worst" goalie out of the remaining four teams... I laughed and said "worse than Vokoun and Fleury?" and he wouldn't admit it... hell I was even arguing that he was better than Rask.

hahahahaha cups dont define a good goalie. Lundqvist? Hasek (lets be honest he got a pitty cup with the Wings)...Rinne? Etc etc I dont have time to make the endless list. And not many goalies start getting nominated for the Vezina durring their first 3 real NHL seasons. What happened to Ward when he won his cup? Does that make him one of the NHLs best goalies? Because he sucks now. Fluery a great goalie with his cup? He can't even stay in the net through a series anymore.

I know you don't believe your own bs but carry on then let your goat do the same.

What the **** are you talking about? Where did I say anything about Cups not defining a good goalie?

you suggested Niemi was a better goalie than Craw because Niemi has a cup and has a Vezina nomination. Therefore you are suggesting Cups and/or Vezina nominations define the better goalie. If thats the measurement btw those two goalies then it has to be the same measurement btw all goalies via your theory.

Therefore Fluery and Ward and Niemi are better goalies than Lundqvist based on cup wins.

You lose..I win...deal with it.

oh shit a Vezina NOMINATION??

Can you name to me the two guys that were nominated for the Vezina in 2010? How about 2009?

Because at the end of the day, after Bob wins the Vezina this year, the other two nominated aren't going to mean a damn thing.

Thing is the remaining 4 goalies (5 if you include both Pens goalies) all have some very different styles in their games and their stances. None can get as low as Quick does in his stance..I don't think any goalie ever has...still bizar to me when i watch it and something else to behold..frankly it puts me in awe. No one stands as high up as Vokoun and that very traditional stance. Rask meets both those two in the middle but more acrobatic like Quick. Crawford traditional but less acrobatic than Quick and Rask yet more acrobatic than Vokoun. Technically more sound than Rask and probably the best puck playing goalie out of the 4 remaining. Quicks biggest flaw is sometimes he can overplay the post to post and lose his net..Craw trumps him on that as he is usually pretty good at staying well within his crease. If that makes sense..you are the goalie you know the proper terms and such.

Im excluding Fluery because I have no idea what type of goalie he is. He is all over the place and I never understood or liked his game. He's got a mix of everything in him and I can never read any consistency in his style.

My ranks with the remaining goalies

1) Quick (hands down)

2) Rask

3) Crawford (but very close to Rask)

4)Bernier

5)Vokoun

6)Emery (can switch him and Vokoun and it wouldn't make a difference)

7)whoever the Bruins back up is

178790) Fluery

It's all kinda moot because, especially at this point, any remaining goalie left is capable of "stealing" a series. That just speaks to the parity of the position in today's game.

My favorite teams
 1. Portland Timbers
 1. Chicago Blackhawks
I don't know about Rask over Crawford. Crawford may let in an occasional softie but the one by Rask...wow. I though Boston signed Huet.

But let's not forget that while Neimi was *nominated* for a Vezina, Crawford *owns* a Jennings. That has to count for something even if he co-owns it.

And I agree, BobRosski wins the Vezina.
