Id personally offer Hammer, a 1st and another pick in the 4-5 range

one report was saying a D-man and top 6. Hammer, a first could do it, but then we really weaken the D, unless other moves can be made. We have a few good prospects that can be expendable to

Bob McKenzie tweeting that Brown is now supposedly "off" the market.

Hard to believe anything a GM, Coach, Etc says now but take it for what it's worth.

Another source informed me that three targets are front and center on the Hawks’ radar presently: center Mikhal Grabovski and Derek Roy, and defenseman Lubomir Visnovsky. I am not as sure of the accuracy of these rumors.

Apparently the sticking point on both centers is that both Toronto’s Brian Burke and Buffalo’s Darcy Regier are asking for a first round draft choice in addition to a player and/or prospect. And the Hawks are said to not want to part with that pick.

HockeyBuzz.com - John Jaeckel - Hawk Rumors, 70 Hours Out

If this is true and if it holds out to be true as the deadline passes....

wow...

grabovski would be so ideal. If he is reluctant to give up a pick for him, **** bowman. Clock is ticking Stanley

Yup.

All the rumor talk and he "my source said" stuff is just nonsense that creates conversation (and page views). Monday is judgement day and holy hell will there be judgement if Bowman doesn't get things done.

If he makes a move we will have to have a poll on the grade of the trade deadline of bowman. I know Jaeckel you have to take with a grain of salt, but so far no matter what he spews, bowman hasnt really dont much since he has been here.

1 2nd line center and a top 4 pairing away from being major players for the cup. That is pretty black and white. This core will not be this young team forever, especially hossa. We need to take advantage of what we have on this team right now!

I think the entire fanbase knows we need a move or 2 and if bowman does nothing, then anything short of winning the cup might be his doom

although, he is scotty's son, so idk if his job is at risk

trades

You guys are arguing C. The priority MUST BE GETTING LEDDY OUT OF THE TOP 4, period. He is horrible in his own zone and costing this team gameS.

Not the biggest fan of Kenny Williams but at least he has the balls to do something big.

Stan Blow has an infatuation with fucking draft picks & prospects.

Either grow a pair or GTFO & get somebody with a clue as the GM.

Here is the thing though...you can't just say "Aww stan bowman blows...GTFO!" Im sure that any trades go through other facets including his father ( a legend in hockey) so the "problem" is deeper than just Stan

he is a puppet. Scotty Bowman is a legend, I do have to wonder when he the game could pass him by

Exactly. It's like the GM isn't exactly the GM... he's more of a middle man. Weird.

And how do you question a guy that has Scotty's stat sheet? You kinda can't and that's dangerous.

But if they have a good deadline, I'll be happy to overlook the inherently strange nature of the father/son thing that the Hawks have going on in the office for a little while longer.

If they have a good deadline, all this bitching will seem childish...lol
