Kane for Miller will NEVER happen

Sent from my DROID RAZR using Tapatalk

No, but enough jackasses have talked about it that people believe it's a legit rumor. I don't where it started, but I'd like to stab the person that started it.

Sorry if the right deal came along, you move him.

He's also a lazy ass on the defensive end.

Miller is what, 31 or 32? Im all in for Crawford, Morin, Beach, etc. But NOT for Kane, the kid is only 24 years old and he WILL get better. Your looking a potential yearly all-star for the next 10 years. Miller will be long gone by then. You can trade youth but NOT proven youth.

The Stars have traded Nicklas Grossman to Philadelphia in exchange for a 2nd-round pick in 2012 and a 3rd-round pick in 2013.

while Stan Blow is afraid to get rid of his precious little draft picks.

Philly stepping up while we sit on our asses for a guy we could've easily had.

I'm still recovering from the last Grossman we had in Chicago.

Even if the hawks get Miller, i still don't think he helps the team.

Once again you jump on things without knowing the full story.

Supposedly the Stars demanded that the Blackhawks put Saad in the deal for Grossman according to Jesse Rogers.

That would have been idiotic for the Blackhawks to do. Saad could definitely be traded...but not for a player like Grossman.

The good thing is that Grossman going to the Flyers eliminates atleast one team (the Flyers) from chasing down some other Dmen that the Blackhawks might be interested in.

Right on here. If the Stars were going to trade Grossman to a team that's what only what 6 or so points apart from them, they were going to rape them.

Hawks could've been a realistic option for Nash but signing Hossa to a 12 yr deal was just idiotic no matter how good he is.

I'd take Hossa over Nash. Right now, flat out.

Hossa is a better two way player and his cap hit is $2.5mil+ less than Nash's. That is a HUGE amount.

Honestly, Nash is a dynamic player but I believe he is a little overrated. He has never really put up the numbers that people expect or make it out to seem. Of course he hasn't played with the best players but still.

Also once again you make it seem like a Blackhawks issue here when Nash is the one who didn't put the Blackhawks on his list supposedly. Otherwise there were rumors that the Blackhawks would have in fact made an offer.

Joe bitching about us signing Hossa long term and not being able to trade for Nash proves he's a "fucking idiot". Hossa a big part of this team especially when it comes to two way hockey.

. Again, the "logicians" in the Hawk fanbase need to listen more to sources outside Chicago where you will get a more balanced, dispassionate assessment of Kane's game and his relative value, AND also appreciation for the value of players he could bring in return.

The notion that he is untradeable under any circumstance while players like Wayne Gretzky (and many others superior to Kane) were traded multiple times, is asinine.
Jaeckel

I love that quote. I dont want miller, but he is spot on with the fans saying he is untouchable. I heard it way too much on the radio today that Kane cannot be traded no matter what because he is a "fan favorite".
