Maholm is doing nicely so far but he really needs to not leave pitches in the happy zone. So far the batters are taking those.

Castro's nice play is on Gameday now. He had good range and form but chucked the ball in the dirt. Nice dig by LaHair, it wasn't a difficult dig but Chipper Jones runs pretty well for an old dude so he did have to hurry.

Sending Castro only makes sense because the offense is so anemic. If they had a real lineup that woold have been a mistake.
