Travis Wood was about ten feet either up or over for a homerun. He just pounded a ball off the wall. Wood is a pretty good bat apparently.

Travis Wood finally made an out as a major leaguer this season, but he hit it hard right at the LF.
He doesn't have any time at a position as a professional which began at age 18. So I am guessing no. Actually looking at his numbers batting in the minors and majors prior to this year and they are ugly to be honest. He has a .478 OPS as a big leaguer prior to tonight and a .557 minor league OPS. Surprised me with the way he has handled the bat in Iowa and Chicago this year.
