I'm hoping that is the case too. If he can't go that means either starting Shark on short rest, bullpen day or calling someone up. Calling someone up will mean some creative juggling of the lineup, but would probably be the option they would choose.

Unless someone goes on the DL, I don't think they can call him up. I believe if you are sent down it is 10 days you have stay down unless you are replacing an injuried player. My guess would be Travis Wood would be the guy, but Coleman would be the other likely option since they are the 40 man roster (Rusin would be in the mix but they would have to not only get a space on the 25 man but the 40 man as well).

I think Garza makes it easier for them and just sucks it up and starts on Sunday. Wells can't be called up unless they fake an injury. They might also call up Rodrigo Lopez.
